The French players were training for the first match, navigating obstacles and holding mini internal penalty shootouts for practice, in case something like that happened in the game. Élisa was focused enough to efficiently perform all the exercises, but deep down, she kept thinking about the previous dinner, more precisely, about Celine.

After a long session of challenging each other with glances, Celine and Élisa smiled at each other and broke eye contact, as dinner was about to begin, and it would be strange if they ate while staring at each other. However, it seemed that neither of them minded. De Almeida couldn't help but wonder, 'How is she so beautiful? Her exposed neck reveals such smooth skin. If there were no one around in this damn moment, I'd climb onto the table to reach her and take her to my apartment.' But the reality was very different; Celine was next to her boyfriend, who looked quite pleased to have such a beautiful and young girlfriend. Although that became a secondary concern as Élisa faced the question: 'Does Celine like women?' That wasn't something one could simply assume.

On the other side of the table, Celine couldn't take her eyes off Élisa. There was something about her that intrigued her. Since she had no one to talk to, she began quietly asking her boyfriend about the players in front of her.

"The two on the left are Grace Geyoro and Sakina Karchaoui," Hervé began to explain. "Geyoro is the captain of the Paris Saint-Germain team; she just renewed her contract until 2028."

Then he pointed to Élisa, making the defense realize that they were talking about her.

"She's Élisa de Almeida," Hervé explained to Celine, while Élisa gave them a smile, causing a twinge in the coach's girlfriend. "Our star defender, her popularity skyrocketed after her standout performance in a World Cup match, saving a goal that would have been against us. Since then, she became the heartbreaker of the team."

Celine focused on the 'heartbreaker' part; she had sensed that vibe from Élisa when she first saw her, but now it was confirmed, and it made perfect sense. Just watching how she behaved and her sensuous way of adjusting her hair.

"Isn't that right?" Hervé asked Élisa, seeking confirmation of her reputation as a heartbreaker and including everyone in the conversation.

"Sorry," Élisa said. "I didn't hear, what was that?"

"I was telling Celine that you're the heartbreaker of the team," Hervé said, and Élisa lowered her head, smiling, while all her teammates awaited her response.

"Don't listen to Hervé," she replied, looking fixedly at Celine and smiling. "That's not true."

The way she perceived the response confirmed to the coach's girlfriend that her reputation was indeed true. It was also confirmed as her teammates started teasing her for denying it. Celine just returned the smile and took a sip of her drink while her gaze remained fixed on Élisa. She couldn't help but think about how attractive she was; her different style was what caught her attention. Trying to define her style, but categorizing it as masculine or unfeminine seemed too crude. It felt a bit aggressive and narcissistic, and that combination stirred something in Celine that she couldn't quite express.

After dinner, the defense didn't miss the opportunity to say goodbye to her since they didn't know exactly when they would see her again. So, she decided to say goodbye even though her boyfriend was beside her.

"Thanks, girls," Hervé began. "It was a pleasant dinner; see you at practice."

Élisa approached, bid farewell cordially to her coach, and then turned her gaze toward Celine.

"Nice to have met you, Celine," she said, saying goodbye and, at the same time, leaning in to give her a kiss on the cheek, her hand discreetly taking hold of her waist with a bit of force. This act sent electric waves throughout Celine's body. "You should tell Hervé to take you to the games; they get really good"
