also just gonna leave this here in advance: "hyung" is a korean term used by younger males to refer to older males they're close to or are on a casual basis with. it loosely translates to older brother, but couples would still use it, it's just the language. most authors leave in these terms in, even in english works, because it's so relevant to how they speak with eachother irl.
