I opened my eyes a little and saw my cat on top of me. I tried to sleep again, but he started poking my nose again until I woke up. I woke up and saw my cat Nemo. He is always waking me up in the mornings , Something irritating him.

I said while scratching the back of his head, I realized that it's already sunny outside, that means... It's already Christmas!! I got up in a hurry, but still careful not to disturb Nemo.
I happily went downstairs, I would run to the tree and open the presents. But before I got to the living room I heard a noise coming from the kitchen. The house was quiet, but the noise from the kitchen was loud, in fact, it was the only sound in the house. I went to the kitchen to see mom working on the stove. She turned around and was holding a tray of Christmas cookies.
