And now my lovely and faithful readers we are officially out of Chamber of Secrets. Coming up is the Prisoner of Azkaban, like last time we transitioned into the next book Harriet's situation with Uncle Vernon will be on full display. Fortunately for Harriet she'll have enough Contraceptive Potion to hold out until she departs Privet Drive for the summer, however only time will tell if that'll still be the case for her.
Now I would like you to keep in mind that I am not glorifying what the surely sexist pig Vernon Dursley is doing to his only niece, in fact I would very angry and almost driven to deal with the problem myself if I was aware of such a thing happening in real life. So stick with me, Vernon will get his just desserts when what he's been doing to young Harriet can no longer be hidden.
I'd also like to say this is the book where we'll see a lot more divergence from canon happening, though I am not going to spoil anything. That wouldn't be very good doggy of me. ;)
