"Is this thing on yet?" Y/N questions himself while trying to make his old camera turn on

He's currently lying on his bed, with a blanket covering his entire body, the laptop on his lap, and an old camera. Doing this is extremely risky because god knows how long Serena's bath is

"Hey," He said while taping the camera a little "Can you hear me?"

"Barely" Finally, an image of Reiji Akaba appears on the camera's small screen "It takes you too long to connect with me"

"Oh, shut up" Y/N scowls, the last thing that he wants right now is to be scolded for using an old device that this jerk forced him to use. He glares at the figure on the screen before typing something on his laptop

"These firewalls that they build," He said while fixing the camera for it to face the laptop

"Whoever builds it, I must praise them for it"

"How so?" Reiji asks while squint his eyes to have a better look at the screen

"You can easily bypass this information" he slides his hand through the screen, pointing at a column on the left of the screen "It's almost like they build no protection for it."

"And what's the catch?"

"It's like stepping on mud, you can walk through it easily, but you will leave trace, footstep, behind for the others to follow you" He stops a little, as if trying to listen to something. After making sure that Serena is still in the bathroom, he continues with a bitter voice

"I have to destroy my previous laptop because of this stupid mistake"

"Interesting..."

"And the other part of the information is nearly impossible for me to access"

This statement causes Reiji to raise his eyebrow slightly. Y/N, for as much as he knows, is one of the best, if not the best hackers in the normal dimension. His information and understanding are simply outstanding. How can he forget how he turned LDS cyber securities into nothing more than a bunch of clowns back when they were LDS's student

"Their code is just...too strange"

"Strange? In what way?"

"It just...Every time I try to hack into the system, these stupid codes are trying to hack my laptop back. Every step further into the matrix, every step this program walks closer to discovering who I am." He exclaims with a bitter tone, it seems that his pride and arrogant can't accept that some mindless 1 and 0 can mess him up so hard

"And that's not even the worst part, these codes are different every time I look at it, it's like..."

"They're involved, aren't they"

"Yes, it's so frustrating that..." He stops on his track as a click sound of a door closing triggers every string of neurons in my party

"Y/N? What's wrong"

"I have to go now, see you later" And with that, he closes his laptop forcefully. He quickly throws his blanket over his body and slides the laptop under their bed. Why, you may ask, because it's an extremely dangerous place to hide things, not alone something as important as it could decide the fate of the war, because that's his only choice for now, the closet, the locker has no lock, chain or anything to protect it, so it's the worst place to hide something.

"What are you doing?"

"Who knows?"

Serena cucked her head in confusion as she stared weirdly at her friend's antic. Ever since that fateful day at the vending machine, she always finds herself strangely attracted to the Blue-Eyes user for some unknown reason. He's always wearing a mysterious mask to hide whatever he's trying to hide. The feeling of being near him always brings a sense of comfort to her, no matter the situation is
