Erik is playing a game of truth or Dare, with his boyfriend Carl and some other college friends. Suddenly, Resident Jerk Wilhelm Von Hohenzollern (not to be confused with Wilhelm Bernadotte) comes over and says to Carl "hey failed Prince, I dare you to sing the first Stanza of Deutschlandlied, and Horst-Wessel-Lied". Carl responds wisely "No, Horst-Wessel-Lied is banned, and I'm not a nazi!" and he walks away

"Good response" says Erik, "thanks" says Carl. Carl says "When will that Jerk Mind his own business". "I dunno, when h*ll freezes over" Erik says.

Wilhelm is shocked when Erik comes to him, and says "Von Hohenzollern dared Carl to sing Stanza 1 of the national anthem and Horst-Wessel-Lied". Wille responds "he wouldn't dare", Erik responds "Oh yes he would", Wille asks "Did Carl do it?" Erik responds "No, he walked away", "Good boy" says Wille.

Carl calls his father, August and says "Remember that Wilhelm Von Hohenzollern guy I told you about?". The king says "how could I forget", Carl says "He dared me, to sing the first stanza of Deutschlandlied and Horst-Wessel-Lied". August responds "Horse-weasel.. what?". Carl responds "Horst-Wessel-Lied, the Anthem of the Nazi party, and former co-anthem of Nazi Germany, it's banned in Germany". August says "Wow he really did that?! And what's wrong with Deutschlandlied. Isn't it the national anthem?". Carl responds "Yes, but only the third stanza, the first 2 are taboo, due to their association with the Nazis". August asks "I guess, I only know the third stanza, what is the first one?". Carl responds "It's the one that says 'Germany above everything in the world'". August responds "Ah, you mean 'Deutschland, Deutschland über alles'. I didn't know that was even a part of the anthem". August says "My wedding to Sara was good, I'm upset the Royal court didn't allow me to invite you". "I forgive you dad, however you should not always do what they say" says Carl. And they both say goodbye
