Ethan's pov

In the morning at home I woke up and looked out the window as it was snowing my favorite time of the year, I got dressed for school and walked downstairs and grabbed my backpack as I left the house and walked to school

I walked into the building of Whitechapel with Benny and I seen Jake and Matt talking to jesse and his crew and I stopped as I felt confused

" why's Jake talking to Jesse? " I asked Benny

" who knows " Benny said as we walked over to our locker

As I opened my locker I heard Jake laughing with Jesse and his friends and I looked at them as Jake did a handshake with Jesse so I furrowed my brows and walked over to them and grabbed Jake's arm and pulled him away from Jesse as Jake got confused

" get away from him " I said as Jake scoffed at me

" What? " Jake said as he yanked his arm away from me

" lose the attitude that's what " I said as Jake walked away to class

Jake's pov

I walked to class and bumped into Matt who looked at me and smiled

" dude, what happened to you? " Matt asked me

" I've been hanging out with Jesse since I learned how to fly " I said as Matt furrowed his brows

" wait you never told me you could fly " Matt said

" it's a long story buddy " I said as we sat in our seats and the teacher turned the news on and my smile dropped as Matt looked at me

" you were on the news last night? " Matt asked me

" you can barely tell it's me " I said as everyone in class started whispering

" dude, your supposed to keep your powers a secret " Matt said

" Jesse thought it was cool " I said as Matt gave me a confused look

" Your friends with Jesse after what he did to your family? " Matt asked me as I nodded

" Yeah, he's a really cool guy " I said as Matt gave me a look

" Did you hit your head when you saved that plane? " Matt asked me

" No " I said smiling

" Dude, he attacked your friends and family " Matt said as I scoffed

" So what " I said as Matt gave me a look as the bell rang and we got up and walked to the cafeteria

Ever since I started hanging out with Jesse and his crew I learned vampires don't need food, I walked over to Jesse and we did our handshake as Matt walked away to our table and sat by himself, my parents and their friends walked into the cafeteria and seen me talking to jesse and his friends

" So Jake there's a dusk premiere coming up and your invited" Jesse said as I gave him a confused look

" I don't like dusk " I said

" Yeah well we won't be watching it " Jesse said as I got confused

" Then why are we going to the movie theater then? " I asked Jesse

" Because it's a premier and we're the ones hosting the show " Jesse said as I smiled

" Sweet " I said as I hopped off the table and we left the cafeteria much to my parents disliking

After awhile of hanging out with Jesse and his friends I walked home and walked inside my mom's house as my parents were sitting in the living room waiting for me along with their friends
