~Aderonke~

“Gerald!” I called as entered my room

“What is the matter?” my husband Gerald asked

“Everything Gerald” I screamed

“That wench that claimed those children she had were yours” I continued

“What about Fisayo?” he asked looking calm

I didn’t want this from him. I wanted him to share my feelings. To look angry. To want to destroy anyone who offends his wife.

“Well, her daughter killed our Alessia” I said breaking down crying

I loved my baby

“How do you know?” he asked still looking calm

Where was his feeling of surprise and hatred?

“Everyone says she did it. Pamela, Adediwura and the investigators” I said trying to make him angry

“So, there is evidence” he asked looking worried

Did he care about them?

“Gerald, The DNA test said they aren’t yours. Why are you acting like you care?” I shouted

“DNA tests can be wrong” he said looking away

So he did care

“Gerald Bailey, It’s my daughter we are talking about” I screamed

“They need to go to jail, Gerald” I continued

“With what evidence and charges?” he asked looking angry

He’s angry over her not me

“Is there evidence?” he asked shouting

“Yes” I replied

“You are lying. Your nose always twitches when you do” he said

“And so, what if there is no evidence, we can do anything we want” I told him

“She needs to suffer, Gerald. She’s shameless” I continued

“After all she did, you don’t have any right to support her” I yelled

“What the hell is wrong with you?” Gerald roared

“Listen to yourself Aderonke. She needs to suffer. We can make up evidence. Are you insane Aderonke Bamidele” he continued

I slapped him hard. “Don’t you dare call me by my maiden name” I said as I walked out of the room

NEXT DAY

~Yemisi~

I was in Kayode’s room. Mum was really fazed about the whole Alessia’s mum stuff.

She didn’t come out of her room since yesterday. Meaning she didn’t eat too.

I just hope she’ll come around

“Ireti has come again with her blog thing” Kayode remarked

Wasn’t he worried about mom

“Who is that?” I asked curiously

“Just one girl in my class that writes a blog on trending Nigerian news” he replied

“Wait! Today’s post is about you being the prime suspect in Alessia’s murder case” he continued

“Seriously!” I exclaimed

“Like how many people see her blog on an average?” I asked looking worried
