Summary:

Good acts are supposed to lead to good outcomes, not becoming one of the Undead, but when Grace Pierce helps her classmate Zane Hollen, that's exactly what happens. She awakens from death with inhuman abilities and a hunger for blood that won't go away.

Zane promises he will find a way to return Grace to her previous state. When the only way to do so is to kill one of the most powerful vampires, the chances aren't looking very promising. Not to mention the vampires are getting tired of hiding, and the only forces that have kept them back for centuries are on the back foot. Grace and Zane must remain in the vampiric world if they wish to find a way to turn the tides.
