Chapter 5

Irene

Tomorrow is our flight and it's already evening now. Ate is just cooking for our dinner while me and my brother is arranging our remaining things that need to be pack.

"Kuya doon 'yan." I uttered. "Saan?" he asked, I then pointed the other luggage.

"Irene, iyan nalang ba?" I heard Ate asked from the kitchen. "Yes! Tapos ko na yung iba, kagabi pa." I answered.

"Ang sakit na ng likod ko." Bonget complained, I chuckled.

"Tanda mo na kasi." I replied, he immediately looked at me. "Excuse me, 33 palang ako 'no!" he hissed, I laughed.

"Kahit na, lagpas pa rin sa kalendaryo." I teased. "Makapagsalita, bakit nasa kalendaryo pa ba ang edad mo?" Ate asked as she went out of the kitchen.

"Oo kaya." I answered, they laughed that made me rolled my eyes.

"Luto na?" I asked, her, she nodded. "Let's eat na. Kanina pa ako nagugutom e." I said as I stood up.

My siblings followed me. "Kailan ka ba nabusog?" Ate asked. "Kaya nga, palagi ka namang gutom." Kuya said.

"Nahiya naman ako sayo, Kuya." I uttered, Ate laughed. "Nako Bongbong, eh sayo lang naman nagmana 'yan." Ate uttered that made me laugh.

"Atleast may minana sa akin, sayo wala." Kuya stuck his tongue out.

Ate looked at me. "Nakikita mo yung ganda na 'yan?" Ate asked and held my face. "Sa akin nagmana 'yan!" I laughed, hysterically.

"Tumigil nga. Nanay ko si Imelda, kaya maganda ako. Feeling neto." I uttered and sat down in the chair.

"Apaka-sama mo talaga!" Ate hissed, we laughed. "Mana sayo." I winked at her that made her glared at me.

As we dig in to the foods, Ate opened a conversation. "Irene.." she called me.

"Hmm?" I hummed as I looked at her. "Yung kotse mo pala, paano?" she asked.

"Dito lang 'yan?" Kuya asked, I shooked my head. "I already found a buyer. We'll just meet him in the airport tomorrow to pick up the car." I answered.

"Sure ka ba dyan? we can send it to the Philippines naman." Ate uttered, I shooked my head.

"Huwag na, besides I also have a car there naman." I replied. "Ano nga palang balak mo bukas?" Kuya asked.

"Hindi ako uuwi." I answered, they immediately looked at me. "Ano?!" they exclaimed.

I laughed as I saw their expressions. "Joke lang. What I mean is hindi muna ako magpapakita kay Mommy." I told them.

"Lutang ako, sandali. Ha?" Ate asked. "You will see tomorrow." I uttered as I continue eating.

After we ate, we continue packing our things and after an hour, we finished.

"Finally!" I exclaimed. "Magligpit kana, Irene." Ate told me, I looked at her. "Bakit ako? si Kuya, siya yung 'di nag-ayos simula kanina e." I replied.

"Ang tamad-tamad mo kamo, Irene." Kuya hissed as he stood up to clean the mess.

"Ikaw nga yung walang ginawa." I answered. "Tumigil na nga kayo. Anong oras na ba?" Ate asked, I then looked at the clock.

"10:51 na." I answered then exactly, my phone rang. I immediately grab it and checked who is calling.

"Sino?" Ate asked. "Si Mommy." I replied as I answered Mommy's call.

"Hi, mommy!" I greeted her. "Hi, how's you? where's your siblings?" she asked.

"Kuya is cleaning and Ate is here, ma." I said as I focus to Ate the camera. "Hi, ma! Andyan sila Borgy?" she asked.
