Another Chance?

Chapter 1

May pasok nanaman ako! it's Monday today so given naman na may pasok talaga ako pero nakakatamad kaya.

I'm now living in California alone. Single rin, kaya kung may mag-aapply na manliligaw ay pwedeng-pwede, joke. My profession here is a Teacher.

I get up from the bed and fixed it before going to the bathroom.

After my class, I have a catch up with my friends na andito ngayon.

I just took a bath and after I decided to wear a dress for me to be comfortable.

Inayos ko lang rin ang bag ko para makababa na. Wala akong kasama dito sa bahay kaya naman sa labas nalang ako kumakain.

I went downstairs and walked directly to the kitchen, I will bring water with me.

I'm really lazy to go to work but then I have no choice! I chose this path, even though my family doesn't agreed for me to leave the country and decided to have a life here.

When I'm finally done, I grabbed my car keys and went out of the house.

I just drove myself for about 20 minutes and decided to have a breakfast from Starbucks.

When I got my order, dumiretso na ako sa school. "Goodmorning, Miss Marcos!" the students greeted me.

"Goodmorning, you can all sit down." I told them.

I started discussing about our lesson today and I am happy that they have this energy to cooperate with me.

Minsan kasi iinisin ka muna bago umayos, sarap paguuntugin.

After three hours, it's break time now so I can finally eat my breakfast.

Buti na ngalang ay hindi ito nalalaman nila Mommy sa Pilipinas kundi baka pauwiin ako.

"Miss Marcos.." I heard someone called me, I looked at back.

"Oh come in, Mr. Cooper." I said and stood up. He then gave me some foods.

"Hmm, what is this for?" I asked as I looked at him.

"Nothing, I just thought of you." then my lips formed to 'o'.

"Thank you, Mr. I highly appreciated it." I thanked him, he smiled at lumabas na rin.

Tiningnan ko naman ang food na binigay, I don't like it pero itatabi ko na rin, I'm sure kakainin 'to nila Dawn mamaya.

Natapos na rin naman yung break time and back to teaching again.

"Quiet!" I hissed, they kept on laughing kahit na nandito na ako sa harapan.

"Easy, miss. You still get paid even you don't teach us right?" this boy asked that made my blood boil.

So I stood up and stand infront of him. "Yes. But then, I want my students to learn how important the education and the respect to the teacher." I said.

"You will listen attentively to my discussion or I will talk to your parents? you choose." I added.

He looked at me and bowed his head. "What's the answer, I'm waiting." I uttered.

"I will not talk anymore and I will listen to your discussion, Ms. Marcos." he uttered, I nodded.

"Good." I answered.

I am very short-tempered like my Ate, kaya hindi ko rin alam paano ako napasok sa ganitong trabaho.

After the class, I just fixed my classroom as it's super messy but then my phone rang.
