Animtronic Tutorial

Step 1:
First off guidelines. If your doing this on paper, I would recommend to use a light shade of a pencil like an 4h, but if your just using an original pencil, then I suggest you press lightly on your pencil. If your doing this on a drawing app thing (I suggest Sketchbook) then I recommend using the airbrush. Now to start with the guidline, add a circle for the head, then do a little cross for the eyes. (Example picture is in media)

Step 2:
If your doing this on paper, use a darker shade of pencil for this, like a HB pencil, but remember TO PRESS LIGHTLY!! But with an original pencil, press A LITTLE lightly on your pencil. When using an app, make a new layer then put the layer (the one with the guidelines) opacity to somewhere at probably 30%, then go back to your new layer and use the pencil tool. Ok using your guidlines, sketch out details, when drawing an animtronic, it is basically like drawing an animal or furry, only looking more robotic like. Now remember, on the joints of your animtronic, add a line, that way it would look more like an animtronic, and that way your animtronic can bend there joints. Example, on Azul's mouth, you see I have added a line to where his jaw is, that way he can move it up and down when talking, and on his ears, you see I have added a line there too, that way he can rotate his ear and fold them down like a real dog.

Step 3:
If your doing this on paper I suggest to use a pen, or if you want a darker shade of pencil, or you can use the same pencil and press down as hard as you want. Same thing goes with using an original pencil. If your doing this on the app, delete the layer with the guidlines, then get the layer of your sketch and turn the opacity of the layer to somewhere at 30% then make a new layer and use the pencil tool and change the color to black, use this layer to draw out your animtronic. Now that you have your sketch, trace over your sketch and make your line smoother, after that erase your sketch and guidlines (on paper). If your on the app just erase your sketch layer. Now all you really need to do is just design your animtronic and color it!! :D
