And So They Escape

(Y/N)'s pointed ears immediately perk up at the order, his eyebrows furrowing as his mouth twists into a scowl. Zoro says a soft "huh?" as he turns back toward Arlong, not understanding what the fishman wanted with the vampire.

This doesn't stop the swordsman from trying to stop them though, despite his tied up predicament. "Hey, don't touch him!" He shouts, his thrashing getting cut short by Nami shoving him to the ground. One of Arlong's subordinates walks up to (Y/N) and grabs onto his bicep, tugging him up from his seated position and pulling him toward the sharp-nosed man.

(Y/N) shrugs the fishman's hand from him, shooting him a glare as he stands in front of Arlong. Arlong reaches for the vampire, taking his face in one of his large webbed hands. He squishes his cheeks, appraising his features in an uncomfortable manner, staring at the living corpse without saying anything.

(Y/N)'s eye twitches as he stands there, sort of kneeling in an awkward position to accommodate the much taller man's current sat figure. It's a little silly looking, while (Y/N) is quite tall for a humanoid creature, he wouldn't even be able to reach Arlong's shoulders standing up. Arlong's calloused fingers run across his (S/C) skin, what was once smooth now rough with scarring.

Arlong squishes his face once more, forcing his mouth open this time. He's greeted with the vampire's fangs, his suspicions proven correct as he grazes over one of the man's canines with his thumb.

He's playing a very dangerous game as (Y/N) snaps his teeth at him, almost catching his fingers. Arlong nearly flinches, but keeps his composure as he harshly grabs onto (Y/N)'s (H/C) locks, pulling him away from him.

"And here I thought the vampire species died out all those years ago." Arlong mutters, his tone sounding close to one of disgust. "What's a thing like you doing here?" He asks, leaning his head back.

(Y/N) simply stares. He stares, and stares, his (E/C) eyes boring into Arlong's head. "Why do you wanna know? Wanna kill me, hm?" He utters, an icy tone to his voice. "You'd get paid plenty for my head, wouldn't you? The last living vampire that even the government can't kill." (Y/N) continues, a slight smirk finding its way to his face. He glances toward Nami's direction for a moment before his sharp eyes drift back toward Arlong.

Arlong sneers, tightening the grip he has on (Y/N)'s hair. "You've got a lot of nerve for someone tied up and helpless. I could easily kill you. Your kind may have been strong, but you're still as weak as the humans." He all but growls, getting up in (Y/N)'s face as he speaks.

"Do it then." (Y/N) implores, not giving the other a chance to respond. "I would love to see you try." He says in an almost polite manner, his head tilted to the side from the way Arlong is gripping his hair. "It'd be quite humorous to see you struggle." He finishes, that same small smirk finding its way to his face.

Arlong snarls, shoving (Y/N) away, causing the vampire to stumble back. "You have far too much confidence in yourself." He responds, his disdain for the other obvious. He snaps his fingers once more, gesturing toward the bound men dismissively. "Lock them up, I'm sure Nami will take care of them later." He orders, before another fishman appears by the side gate, attempting at getting Arlong's attention.

"Arlong! Hey, Arlong!" The fishman exclaims, before sprinting up to the aforementioned man. "Yeah? Spit it out." Arlong replies, turning his head toward the fishman with a floral patterned shirt. "Yes, sir."

"These two didn't come alone, there was another long-nosed weird lookin' guy with 'em, but he got away." He explains, a webbed hand raised in the air. This catches (Y/N)'s attention, causing him to shake his head with a sigh. So much for an 'easy escape', it seems. "I think he escaped to Cocoyashi village!"
