It was winter, Yena went shoping for groceries and now she is going back home. Every thing outside was dark and ugly, like all the winters. Nobody was outside, it was just her with her toughts. She got home but her mom already left to work. Yena left the groceries on the table in the kitchen and was now in her room. She dressed up in pijamas and turned the TV on. She didin't care about the news until she heard "Russia has officialy declared war on Ukraine". That new shocked her so she listened till the end. Yena was so scared that she called her mom to ask what is happening:
Y: - Mom, did you hear the news?!
M: - No, what news?
Y: - Russia has officialy declared war on Ukraine!
M: - Real?!
Y: - Yes!
M: - Let me see. I'll put the call on waiting.
Y: - Ok.
M: - Dahyun, my dear assistant!
D: - Yes, m'am?
M: - Can you bring me my laptop?
D: - Yes, of course.
M: - Thanks.
M: - Darling, can you hear me?
Y: - Yes!
M: - I'll call you soon again!
Y: - O-ok.
Then her mother hanged up. Yena was confused but waiting for her mom's call.
Her mom was now calling her best friend wich was working in the news:
M: - Hello, Chan!
C: - Hello Minyoung!
M: - Tell me the news about the war, i'm currently searching details on my laptop.
C: - Um, hard to say but yea, Russia has declared war on Ukraine and our country isn't ready for a war now.
M: - Ok, thanks i found every detail i needed, bye.
C: - Good, bye!
Minyoung hanged up and was now calling her daughter.
Y: - Yes mom?
M: - Back, i found every detail, we need to leave Ukraine asap.
Y: - Why? Its ok, we are in the capital, we don't need to worry.
M: - We do need to worry!
Y: - Mom, can we talk about this when you come home?
M: - Yes.
Yena hanged up without even thinking. She realised that it was 11 p.m.
Y: - I guess i have to sleep
She fell asleep very fast. At 6 a.m. Yena heard the door opening and she woke up. It was her mom.
Y: - Hi or Good morning! I guess its time for the disscusion.
M: - Good morning.
Y: - What do we have to talk about?
M: - The war.
Y: - The war...
After that her mother was following her everywhere in the house to tell her about the was while Yena was getting ready for school. When her mom ended the discussion weird she was looking in the mirror. Ready to go to school.
