Chapter 15
When Li Zan turned his head, he saw cars coming and going on the street. Several cars were coming towards him. The speed of the cars was normal and there was no abnormality.
"That car!" Song Ran yelled again, and ran forward with all his might.
Li Zan quickly scanned all the drivers in the car, one after another, he quickly identified them.
As if out of his naturally keen sense of smell, when he glanced over the driver's seat of the small car, he noticed something strange.
The man in black in the car met his gaze, and in a flash, both of them became alert.
Li Zan raised his hand to signal him to stop, and touched his waist with the other hand.  The man in black stepped on the gas pedal in an instant, while Li Zan drew his gun, took aim, and pulled the trigger in an instant.  "Bang", the right front tire of the car was blown!
The car tilted sharply and crashed into the side of the road where Li Zan was standing.  The man in black released the accelerator, controlled the direction, and then stepped on the accelerator to escape onto the road.  The moment the car turned away, Li Zan rushed up in two or three steps, jumped onto the front cover of the car, and fired with a "bang", half of the windshield exploded, and Li Zan rolled into the cab.  Looking back, there was a bomb in the back seat.
The attacker drew his gun and aimed at Li Zan. Li Zan blocked his wrist and tried to unload his gun.  But the opponent is not a vegetarian either, his strength is astonishing, the two scuffled and competed into a ball.
   "boom!"
The remaining half of the windshield burst open, and the broken glass splashed, scratching their faces.
The smell of blood aroused the men's fighting spirit. They both turned red eyes and fought more vigorously. When they stepped on the gas pedal to the bottom, they went on a rampage on the street.
The Dongguo soldiers at the gate of the temple rushed up to stop them. Li Zan roared, "Bomb!"
The soldiers didn't dare to shoot at the car, they could only hit the tires.
The car bumped wildly, without slowing down, and rushed all the way into the Grand Bazaar.
Merchants, peddlers, and customers screamed and fled in all directions; cloth, spices, and scones were all over the car.
The attacker's target was the crowded market on weekends. As soon as he rushed into the middle of the crowd, he slammed on the brakes, and the inertia threw the two wrestling people onto the console of the car.
The assailant swooped to catch and press the bomb button; Li Zan grabbed his hand holding the gun and punched him hard in the face.  Grab the gun and go bomb it.  Li Zan tightly strangled his hand and twisted it up, "Bang!", the bullet broke through the roof of the car.  Li Zan restrained his hand, kicked the console, and the remote control flew out of the shattered windshield.  He kicked the assailant's knee hard again, and the latter screamed.  Li Zan took the opportunity to step on the accelerator, the car accelerated again, and continued to sprint forward in the Grand Bazar.
Song Ran rushed to the ceiling of the bazaar, only to see the car rolling out a chaotic and broken road and rushing out of the Grand Bazaar.  And people huddled on both sides of that "road", undecided in shock.
Song Ran stepped on the shelves of wood, spices and cloth all over the floor, and ran out.
She heard a series of gunshots piercing her heart.
This road is too long, and the market exit at the end is filled with white light, which is the bright sunshine outside.  She tried her best to run out, but the moment she rushed into the scorching sun, she heard a loud explosion in the distance.
The street in front of her was safe and sound, and people looked at the sky in horror.
The car has already driven a few streets away, and the explosion site cannot be seen.
Song Ran's heart sank suddenly, and he ran in that direction desperately.
She ran for an unknown distance, and arrived there out of breath—it was a small shopping street, and the government troops who arrived had cordoned off.  Song Ran wanted to go in and have a look, but was not allowed.  And the journalists from all over the world reminded her that she was about to start working.
She closed her eyes forcefully, letting herself stabilize her emotions first.
Like other reporters, she showed her press card, but she could only report in the outer circle.  The scene inside was too bloody.  Except for a few journalists from the country, no one else was allowed to come close.
Song Ran took a position with no line of sight among a group of foreign reporters, quickly set up all kinds of equipment, and made a satellite connection with the country.
During the signal connection, she scanned the surrounding environment.
The streets were bombed to pieces, burning garbage and clothes were flying all over the ground.  The car was blown up into burning ruins, and the two shops closest to the bomb were blown into black holes. Flames were flying on the door panels and walls, and soldiers were putting out the fire with fire extinguishers.
In the middle of the street, several corpses were lying here and there, some limbs had been disassembled, and the smell of blood wafted all over the street.  Soldiers and doctors searched for survivors among the crowd.  The dead became the outcasts, and there was no time to care about them.
It was the first time Song Ran saw such a scene. Anger, nausea, grief, helplessness... Various emotions surged in his chest.  Her eyes were red and she was about to gag.
But the signal from the front came from the earphone: "Song Ran? Can you hear it? Song Ran?"
She turned her head quickly, gritted her teeth and adjusted her state in an instant. After connecting to the camera, she began to make a clear statement:
"At 10:32 a.m. local time on September 10th, a suicide bombing attack occurred in Jialuo City in the south-central part of the Eastern Kingdom. The exact number of casualties needs to be announced by the official. It is still impossible to deduce which force the suicide came from..."
A row of foreign reporters around her was communicating with her own radio station.  Everyone does not interfere with each other.
After Song Ran's oral broadcast was completed and the on-site video was transmitted, the sound of the signal being cut came from the earphones.
She was about to pack up the equipment, but just in time she saw the soldiers cleaning up the corpses pick up a child and put it on the side of the road to set it up.  The little child was in the arms of the soldier, with his head up, his hands and feet dangling like a rag doll.
