[Shinobu leaned against the wall in her office, her door was locked, she felt so overwhelmed. She had so much patients, she had to work so much now that Kanae was gone, she had to learn medicine, she had to learn how to do all this, she had so much on her plate. And she wanted to talk about it, or find someone to find comfort in... She looked around the dim room, it was night, the wind breezing over her skin, she acted on impulse, she ran outside. She ran past the rooms, the kitchen, Kanae's room... She ran outside, shutting the door behind her. She stood outside the mansion, the wind brushing over her skin as she got gooosebumps, she shivered, her haori was very flowy, so the wind entered easily, she didn't know who to go too, Mitsuri? She'd be hanging out with Obanai, Kanae? She's....dead, Those were  the only people she talked to much, and cared about, but one person popped into her head, constantly, Tomioka Giyu, she didn't wanna think about him, he was arrogant, annoying, rude, cute...cute?! She decided to just go to his house, it was snowing, she couldn't stay out in the snow, she ran past every bodies estates, she ran past the Hashira-Headquarters, she tried to remember where his house was. She looked for specific pinpoints, like the single cherry blossom tree by a graveyard, the bridge leading up the mountain, it was late at night, she held her sword tightly as she trotted up the mountain, crossing the bridge, she felt the wind becoming more colder, she found a mini-big cabin, she assumed it was his, she knocked frantically, her skin became paler from the chilly snowy night wind. Tomioka sat on his couch, relaxing, he heard frantic knocks, he got up and quickly ran to the door, he answered it and his eyes widened]

"Kocho..?" He mumbled

[Shinobu panted, she felt the warm air inside the big cabin, she begged to come in]

"Can I p-please come in!!"

"I promise I won't make a mess!!"

"Please!! Just help m-me!" Her voice breaking

[He opened the door wide enough for her to walk in as he went aside for her to walk in, she walked in quickly, he shut the door behind her and he looked a bit worried,]

[She stood in the middle of the house, embracing the warm air as she breathed out, she felt a bit better being by Tomioka. He walked towards her and paused infront of her ]

"Kocho, is something wrong? " he asked worried

[She looked up at him, her face turning more sad and worried]

[She slowly walked closer towards him, and his chest. She hugged him and rested her head in his chest, not facing him, she put her hand on his chest, and he put his arms over her back, hugging her back as he looked back down at her. His focus only on her]

[They hugged in silence, Shinobu gently cried into his chest. His uniform soaking up her tears, soon she pulled away and apologized over and over,rubbing her eyes, trying to act like she didn't cry]

"Sorry, sorry!"

"Forgive me"

"Sorry!"

"It's fine, don't worry about it" he answered

"Kocho,"

"What's wrong?" He asked worriedly

[He walked towards the couch, he sat down, and he patted his hand next to him, signaling for her to sit next to him. She walked towards him and sat down next to him, and then she vented to him,]

"I've been so overwhelmed.."

"With Kanae's death it's all put on me"

"All the girls rely on me"

"I have to learn all this new stuff with 2 days"

"There's way too much patients for me to take care off"

"It's too stressful"

[She sat in his lap and hugged him, she felt bad, she'd tease him, but he was a good listener]

[Soon after a long, comforting hug, she slowly closed her eyes and drifted off into sleep, her slight small snores making Tomioka laugh, once he realized she was asleep he gently covered her in his haori, took her to the guest bedroom and put a pillow under her head and a blanket over her body, he gave her some extra things and gently shut the door]
