# THE PARENTS.

ISABELLA'S EYES STAYED GLUED onto her laptop, reading the same email over, and over, and over again. "we have seen your skills.... we would love to have you..." isabella felt like screaming. her hand covered her mouth as she trembled in excitement.

"mom! dad!" she yelled. footsteps could be heard, rushing up the stairs and to the girl's room. her dad opened the door quickly, rushing to his daughter's side.

"whats wrong?" he asked. her mother quickly coming behind the two.

isabella moved her laptop slightly, allowing her parents to read it. their eyes skimmed through. tears brimmed at the site. their daughter, their sweet, precious daughter, was going to play hockey all the way in michigan.

"im so proud of you sweetie" her mother whispered, pulling her into a hug.

"are you guys okay with this? okay with me going to college in michigan?" she asked softly, looking at both of her parents. they looked at each other.

her father spoke up, "as far away as you will be, i have no doubt in my mind you will do great things in michigan. i think it will be good for you to be out of massachusetts for awhile. plus, full ride, we don't have to pay a penny!" he joked.
