The summer of 2011 was filled with unexpected turns for Nith. Giving up on his feelings for Kate that he had harbored ever since he was thirteen, leaving his home for college, getting a girlfriend for the first time in his life, writing Maybe Someday, and putting it out in the world for everyone to see.

Among it all, the one thing that probably didn't seem like something out of a movie was his first date.

Which ended with them sitting inside a fortune teller's hut.

It was a shabby stall, filled with bottles with mysterious liquid and exotic-looking flowers that hung above them.

Nith sat betwixt his newly found girlfriend and a young boy.

The fortune teller was an old lady. Dark purple bandana over her head and her gray hair parted over her shoulder in braids. She was peculiar, wearing nothing but a long dress despite the summer heat. She told the young boy to get home and wait for fortune. Told his girlfriend that the love that she seeks was not hers and told him that on the 15th everything would come crashing down.

Two hundred and twenty days later, on the 15th his girlfriend of two hundred and twenty-two days broke up with him; making one of those piffles true.

"Are you still worrying about the date?" Jay asked.

Nith laughed. His best friend really did know him best. "Maybe a bit."

"Where are you now?"

Nith changed the phone from one ear to another as he looked around. "Just got inside the building. Lily went in to get our pass. There are so many people outside." The crowd that had gathered both outside Colored Entertainment's Ren's office and inside the lobby had him anxious about the read.

"It's gonna be fine. Don't worry about it. So far nothing bad has happened on the 15th." Jay said through the phone.

Nith nodded as his hand went through his hair. Unlike always it wasn't glued to his scalp with gel. And the humidity of Rens wasn't being very forgiving to his hair either. It was more curlier than usual, more unruly. "I'm just worried about the cast. They haven't given us any names yet." He didn't like how even now he was still in the dark regarding the names. These were variables he couldn't control and it made him nervous.

"Nith, this is Colored Entertainment. They are meticulous when it comes to casting. You know that. So take a deep breath and just smile. Make sure you get me some autographs."

Nith shook his head, fighting off his smile at Jay's words. His phone beeped indicating that he was getting another call. He checked the name. "I think Lia is calling me for the same reason."

Jay laughed. "She called you?"

"Yeah, twice already. And just now again."

"Why don't you pick it?"

A reporter yelled his name, waving his hand frantically for his attention. Nith smiled for the camera as he walked past it. He quickly moved away, not giving others in the area to ask him to pose. The whole first floor was crawling with reporters. Colored Entertainment wasn't lying when they said they would headline every media outlet with this announcement. "It's crazy here. I was talking with someone then. I will call her back later." His hands race through his hair once more.

"Stop touching your hair. You will go bald."

Hand still under his copper curls, Nith laughed. "You should be here."

Jay sighed dramatically. "Tell that to your Lily, who thinks there was no need for me there," he tsked his tongue. "You got your wine?"

Nith patted the little bottle hidden inside his coat. "Yup."
