Zelda began to speak, her soft voice resonating through the air.
"Link... do you remember me?"

Lincoln smiled. He was done. He was finally done. 78,901 words on his Word Document. He was done writing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
He leaned back in his chair, his eyes sparkling with joy.
I'm done... after a year, I'm finally done!
Breath of Wild was about a young knight named Link, who was chosen to be the hero of his kingdom, Hyrule, but before he is able to, he nearly dies and wakes up 100 years later with no memories. It was bold for Lincoln to name the main character after his nicknames, Link, but he doesn't regret it. He thinks it fits.
Now, the story was finished. It was done. All that was left to do was to get it to a publisher and start writing book 2, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
