Chapter 5: date

"We're boyfriend and girlfriend now" said Alex "yeah" I said things were weird between us for a while but then they weren't that awkward. "So wanna go on a date?" Alex asked "yes" I said and he put his hand out for me I was scared to except it but I took it we went on a walk together threw a park it was romantic the sun was beating down on us the day was perfect. Then it started to rain I let out a little laugh "here have my jacket" he said and put it in me "thanks" I said and put my head on his beating heart.

When we got home my mom asked all about the date we told her everything, my mom loves love my dad left two years ago and now my mom is looking for love and she loves to hear about it. She loved the part when he gave me his jacket it was navy blue and Alex said I look amazing in it which I'm starting to believe.
