"Female, 31, trauma from an automobile accident."
Madeline ran in.
"She has glass in her abdomen."
"Tell us something we don't know!" I snapped.
"She got in an automobile accident at 17. Actually, I did. And she got a body full of glass."
"And the Surgeons just left it in her?"
"Apparently they're too dangerous to pull out."
"It could be easier now since she's older."
"And who makes that decision?"
"Her spouse."
"If you think you can safely remove them, go ahead."
"Okay."
