Taylor's POV:
I sighed as I collapsed onto Jimmy's guest bed. As tired as I was, I had zero desire to go to sleep.
Now that I was alone, my mind could go wild without Jimmy or the noises of the airport to settle it down. Now that I was alone, the truth of the past twenty-four hours sit in.
I shook my head, reaching into my back pocket for my phone. Nope, I was nowhere near able to handle that on my own.
I considered going to Jimmy's room to ask him to stay up with me but he'd already done enough for me. I was under his roof after all.
Besides, the notification on my phone that I had gotten a voicemail intrigued me enough to forget about that idea. I made sure my volume was up a fair amount and prepared for the worst.
