i watched y/n run down the stairs. it was all so quick. i saw the tension between kai and her. i knew it was there. i knew it from the start.
i can't believe i thought her and i had a chance. i really thought. the way he protected her from a fall. the way he comforts her. i sighed. i walked downstairs as soobin arrived with drinks. we all piled into the living room.
y/n:"i'm- gonna- g-go."
"you don't want any??" she shook her head, practically sprinting to her room. i just chugged my beer. chugged and chugged and chugged, drinking all my feelings away. i slapped myself in the face after finishing my beer. y/n isn't worth it. hueningkai's too handsome. i look like a rat that was born in a sewer. or at least.. i thought.
