I've been practicing all night. I finally got to sleep at four in the morning. Now we're headed out, it's going to be a long day. Shane hasn't said one word to me all day, I enjoy that.

I keep looking at myself through my phone camera, I keep double checking my makeup to ensure I have enough on. I also touch up my hair every now and then.

I don't think I've ever been this nervous about anything before in my life. I need this right now, I need to just get away.

I look down at my hands and pick at the nail buds I'm looking down at the bruise on my wrists, I have no way of hiding it. It's way too hot to wear a jacket to cover it up.

We pull into the parking lot and it causes me to draw my attention to Shane. He parks the car and unbuckles. I take a deep breath and unbuckle my seatbelt and open my door and grab my guitar from the back seat.

Me and Shane walk to the front of the venue and see a security guard standing there, I hand him the flyer and he gives me a nod for us to walk in. As soon as I enter I felt as if I was going to throw up. I am so anxious right now and nothing will change that.

"Hey, Mackenzie!" I hear from behind me, I turn and see Harry walking over. Shane is glaring down at me and then at Harry. "I'm so glad you made it," He said with a smile as he caught up.

"Hey Harry, umm this is my boyfriend Shane" I introduced Harry to Shane. Shane shakes his hand and Harry does the same.

"Nice to meet you, Harry" Shane said in a rather harsh tone. I felt a pit in my stomach, Harry just stands there smiling at both of us. "She's excited to be here," he said again trying to make conversation.

"Yeah at the meeting when she said she plays guitar I thought I should give her a flyer to see if she's interested. I'm glad she was and that she came" I felt my heart fall to my stomach, I told Shane I got the flyer off the bulletin board not that he handed it to me.

I know it just seems like a small lie but to Shane if a guy when says hi to me he gets extremely mad and jealous.

"Oh you handed it to her, interesting" Shane looks down at me and then gives Harry a quick smile.

"Anyways, just thought I would just say good luck," Harry said smiling at me then walks away. I felt as if my heart was beating so fast I couldn't breathe.

Just then Shane grabs my arm and pulls me with him. We make it to a corner and he pushes me so my back is against the wall and he's towering over me. His grip is strong on my arm, it hurts so much.

"So you got it off the bulletin board?" he spoke in a harsh whisper so no one can hear. His face was red and full of anger. His nails dug into my skin, he's forehead almost pressed onto mine.

"Shane stop please, you're hurting me," I said trying to be as quiet as possible. He strengthened his grip and just looked at me with his jaw clenched. I wince in pain and bite my lip so no one will hear me. I look into his eyes with tears falling down my face.

"You're so fucking pathetic to think you got that fucking flyer off the bulletin board-" he was then cut off by the sound of footsteps. He lets go and quickly walks to the left of me.

"Everything okay over here?" A security guard asks looking at both of us. I just nod my head and give him a small smile. "Okay well, five minutes before they start" He then walks away leaving us in his tracks.

Shane doesn't say anything and just walks toward the arena. I walk in the opposite direction and go into the bathroom.

My makeup was smeared. My arm and wrist were red and bruised.
