Falling in Love, Again

Chapter 12- A few years ago

Aarushi laid down at bed trying to sleep but was unable to.

Aryan on the other hand, was thinking about the conflict that happened that day.
Aarushi checked the time. It was 1 am already, she tried to sleep again, but of no use.

Aarushi closed her eyes. Aryan, though miles apart,  did the same.

"Class, this is Aarushi Shah, new student. As due to some reasons  she joined the session late, everyone help her to cope up with her missed studies."

"Yes ma'am."

"Aryan, you are requested to help her with notes and other stuffs. Aarushi, Aryan is the topper of this class, he will help you out "
"Thankyou mam"

"Hey"

"Oh hey. Do you want anything?"

"Yeah, Aryan right?"

"Yeah, Aarushi."

"Aryan can you please explain me some maths chapters which I have missed? And can you please share notes too?"

"Yeah yeah sure. I think we can study tomorrow in some free period? My revision will be done too."

"Okay, sure." She smiled.

"So yeah, this is done."

"Wow we completed so soon!"

"Yeah, this chapter was small one. But next one is some lengthy, it may take some time."
"Okay no problem."

"Here are the science notes. But please return it to me till next monday."

"Yeah yeah don't worry. And thankyou so much."

"No problem. If my father didn't have this sudden transfer, me and my sister wouldn't have faced this backlog!"

"You have a sister too?"

"Yeah, but as seats were almost full, we couldn’t get in same class. So we were alloted different sections."

"Oh okay."

                         *******

"So class, results of the half yearly exams are out. And this time Aryan is at second place."

Everyone was shocked and discussed with each other.

"Well, who could have crossed Aryan's marks?"

"Yeah, this is the first time someone did that."
"Who could it be Aryan?"

"How do I know, Dev?"

"Okay, so no further discussions, it is Aarushi Shah! Everyone clap for her! She did this even after joining late."

Aarushi stood up and walked towards the teacher with pride, as if she knew, that she would be the one.

"Well, a new competitor Aryan." Dev whispered.

"Yeah." Replied Aryan as he too went towards the front.

"So traitor, took my notes as well as position?"

"Lol" She chuckled.

"Don't worry, we'll see in the final
examinations."

"Yeah yeah, why not?"
