After that whole situation with Albert and Marissa, me and Albert just continued watching Love is Blind.

But an hour later, Marissa called him.

"I gotta take this." Albert said, not knowing I knew it was Marissa.

"Oh, alright." I mumbled.

He walked into the bathroom and shut the door.

"What do you want?" Albert scoffed

I went up to the door and pressed my ear against the door.

"Im sorry baby, I was drunk!" She sobbed.

"Baby?" Albert asked, sounding confused.

"Sorry, just a slip up. it feels like i'm still dating you sometimes." she giggled.

"We dated years ago, get over it." Albert sighed.

"Whatever, come over please!" She squealed.

"Alright, fine." Albert said while hanging up and walking to the door.

I quickly ran up back to the bed and layed down.

"Hey sorry, I gotta go. Something came up." Albert explained while closing the bathroom door.

"Ok." I said coldly, looking him up and down.

"Uh, bye." He mumbled awkwardly.

I watched as he awkwardly walked out and I couldn't help but to tear up, but I quickly wiped them and sat up.

My phone went off and I quickly picked it up and it was a message from a unknown number.

As I turned into Marissa's driveway I looked down and saw one of Cora's hairs on my black sweatpants.

why did I leave?

I got up out of my car seat and locked my car.

I walked up to the door and knocked a few times before it opened to Marissa.

She had mascara running down her face and she was sobbing.

"Oh my god, what's wrong?" I stepped inside and wrapped my arms around her.

She hugged me back and. I closed the door behind me.

She sobbed into my shoulder and I didn't really know what to do, I felt extremely awkward.

She let go and let me to her bedroom.

"What happened, why were you crying?" I asked as I sat on her bed.

"C-Cora said something to me."
