HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY KAYLAAAA (Roc POV)

"Okay Can I run over the list one more time?" The lady at the counter asked me. "Sure." I said. "So you want the presidents suite, the chiefs dinner for two, a bottle of sparkling grape cider, and you also want to make the reservations for tonight and tomorrow?" "Yes, Thats correct and I have some guys coming by to drop off flowers at 4." I told the lady. "Okay. Have a wonderful day sir." She smiled. "You too." I smiled and walked out. I've been preparing for Kayla's party for about two weeks now. Brittney, Shante, Rashia, and Tiffany have all been helping me out. Her party is going to be awesome and there is going to be an after party but just for Kayla and I at the Hilton Hotel. I'm super nervous for tonight, Ive been holding out on doing this for a long time. I guess I've been waiting for the right to ask her and what better time to ask her out then on her birthday? My mind has been racing all day mostly about asking her out but the other part is about our promise... The one were she told me that when she turns eighteen and we are both in love we can have sex. I'm not expecting anything from her tonight but I'm going crazy thinking about it. I really could care less if Kayla wanted to make love to me, I really just want to be with her. The only reason I have reservations at the Hilton is because I want privacy. Things around my house have been hectic and we could always go to Kayla's apartment but I wanted this to be special. - Aye yo phone ringing! - My phone went off, It was Kayla. "Hey Whats up?" I said into the phone. "Nothing um I was just calling to see what you had planned for after my party. You know the reason why you told me not to make plans after..." I could hear her voice shaking, Maybe she was as scared as I was. "Its a surprise but pack an over night bag, Okay?" I heard some squealing and I chuckled. "Okay. I can do that..." "Okay. See you tonight bye." She said bye and we hung up. I hopped into my truck and drove off. I sat in front of my house for 30 minutes before I got out. Remember how I said my house has been hectic for the last few weeks? Its because my Dad decided he wanted to come home. My moms been going crazy trying to put all my sister cloths in the basement so my dad won't have to leave again. I can't believe shes doing this. The man abandoned us when we needed him most and if he doesnt have the balls to stay with his family when something tragic happens then why should we need him around? I'm staying away from home as much as possible why my mom's doing all of this. My fathers coming home tomorrow and she wants me here I say No whenever she asks me. Every time she sees me around the house thats what she worried about and I've said things to her I didnt mean so its best that I'm out the house away from all this so I wont lose anymore people I love. I walked in the front door and shut the door as softly as I could and tip toed up the stairs. I was so close to begin in my room but my Mom popped out from behind a corner as I was opening my door. She looked horrible, she had dust all in her hair and her cloths It looked like she hadn't had sleep in days either. "Hey son.." She said. "Hey Mom and If you're going to ask about me begin here for Dad coming home forget it." I said in a worse tone then I had meant to. "Look Mom I'm sor-" "You don't have to apologize I know what I've been like for the last few weeks and Im sorry but I need you here for when he comes home." "Mom You know I don't want to see him plus I'm going to be with Kayla.." "Well she can come too! Im done arguing with you about this and if you still dont want to come you can say Good Bye to your car!" My mom yelled. "You cant do that Mom! Im 19 you have no control over me now!" "Oh really? Are you forgetting who bought that car for you and who's names on the papers for the car? Oh yeah Sherry August! Your *** better be here Roc!" My mom yelled and marched off. I knew I should have just went to Kayla's. I took out my phone and dialed her number. "Hello?" Kayla said into the phone. "Hey Birthday girl! You ready for tonight?" I tried to say as peppy as possible at the moment. "Yeah I am but whats wrong Roc and don't say nothing cause I know you better than that." "Kayla I really don't want to ask you to do this but remember how I told you my dad was coming and my mom wants me there?" My voice started to crack whenever I think about how he left I always get so emotional. "Of course I'll come Roc." Kayla said. Her voice cracked a little too. I smiled. "Thank you so much Kayla..." "Anytime and I have to go, Brittney's helping me do my hair right now but I'll see you at the party." I smiled again. "Okay, Bye." I hung up the phone. Thats exactly why I love that girl so dang much! I waited outside for Kayla to come. I'm super excited for tonight and I cant wait to see what she has on. Prod, Ray, Prince and Jacob were there too waiting on there girls to roll up with Kayla. "Ready to see her man?" Jacob asked me. "Yeah I'm ready and nervous as freak but I think I got this." I smiled. "You better have it." He gave me dap and went to go talk to Prince. "Aye, What yall think taking them girl so lo- Never mind" Prod said and began fixing his tux. I turned my head and saw a hot pink limo with "HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAYLA!!" plastered on the side. I smiled and fixed my tux too. The limo park in front of us and we all stood in a line by the side of the door. Ray opened the door and Tiffany slid out first, She had on a pink mini dress. She took Rays hand. "Babe you look amazing!" He said and she giggled. Next Rashia, Brittney and Shante got out. They had on identical dresses to Tiffany. All the girls were on the arms of there boys but Kayla didnt get out yet. "Wheres Kayla?" I asked. Brittney scowled me and pointed for me to come stand next to the door. I rushed over and stood there and she smiled. "Now introducing the wonderful lady of the night, Kayla Tyler!!" "I didnt want her to do that but she made me." She laughed and I did too. "Ummm Ehh You look ehhh Amazing!" I finally coughed up. She smiled. "Thanks, Now lets party!" We all "Whoa-ed" and walked into the building. It looked great, Everything was pink and black and when I say everything I mean everything. There was a live band and they painted their equipment pink and black. "Oh My Gosh!! Thank you so much Roc!" Kayla said and hugged me. "I cant take all the praise for this thought Brittney and them helped me." I smiled. "I already gave them their Thank you's at the house but since you do-" I stopped her. "No No No! I want the Thanks you's!" She giggled and hugged me again., "Come on lets dance!!" Kayla dragged me on the floor and started twearking on me. Oh My gosh! Is she trying to kill me? "Ight everybody. Its time for the birthday girl to get her present so I'd like to call up Kayla Tyler and Roc August!!" I grabbed Kayla's hand and lead her on stage. There were so many people at her party It took us a few minutes to make it to the stage. I took the mic from the DJ. "Okay. First I wanna thank everyone for coming!" I yelled into the mic and then everyone else yelled back a me. "Yeahhh! Alright so we are going to give our birthday girl her present, Yall know the drill, Errybody outside!!" Everyone started to run out the room and Kayla grabbed my arm. "Whats outside Roc? Did you get this for me?" She questioned me. "Its a surprise and yes I did buy it." She squealed and took off her heels. "What are you doing?" I said but she was already running outside. "Okay everyone. This is a special present from me to Kayla!" I said to everyone outside. A car horn blew and I smiled. A pink and black Lamborghini stared weaving its way through the crowd. "AHHHH!" Kayla screamed. She looked at me. "Roc! You did not!" She screamed again and hugged me. I just laughed. She pulled from the hug and bit her lip. "Thanks Roc.." She said to me. I bit my lip to and winked. She smiled and screamed again. "Everyone back up let her get to her car now!!" I made everyone clear a path and Kayla got to her car. She jumped in immediately. "Roc! Come get in with me!!" She called from the car window. "Okay Im coming." I weaved through the crowd and jumped in the passengers side. She was jumping up and down, smiling and biting her lip from time to time when she looked at me. "Hey, Check your glove compartment.." She gave me a crazy look and I just smiled. She opened it and screamed so loud I could hear ringing in my ears. "Its a freaking diamond bracelet!!" She yelled out to the crowd and they cheered. "Thanks again Roc!" Kayla said. She leaned over to me but this time she didnt hug me she kissed me. For a second we almost started making out but then we remembered there were people and she pulled away. I wiped my lips to remove the lip gloss. "Your welcome." I bit my lip. I stood outside the passengers door and yelled. "Ight! Everyone thanks for coming and its time fore yall to get out of here!!" The crowd boo-ed and I heard one person yell. "One more dance!!?" and the crowd started chanting "One more dance, One more dance!!!" I finally gave in,"Okay! Okay! One more dance but the birthday girl has to gooo!" The crowd cheered and went back inside. "Where are you taking me Roc?" Kayla asked me as I slide down into my seat. "Its still a surprise.." I smiled. "While I'm driving and I need to know where we are going." She pouted. "Just drive to the Hills Coffee Shop Okay? I promise your going to like this surprise..." I smiled. "Okay. fine, shut your door and lets go.." I shut my door and Kayla cranked up the car with a smile. She slowly pulled off and then we were gliding down the road. "What surprise is at the coffee shop?" Kayla questioned me as she shut her door. "Who said the surprise was here?" I bit my lip. Kayla pouted. "Can you please tell me what the surprise is?" "No I can not.. Now come on I dont want the people to think we're not coming." I held my hand out for Kayla. She hesitated and then grabbed my hand. "You better be lucky your hot and I like you or else I would have left you here and went home" Kayla said and I laughed. "Come on Birthday Girl.." I smiled at her and lead her across the street to the Hilton. "OMG, We going in the Hilton?" A smile creep across her face. "Yes, Come on our reservations were for 11 and it 11:30" "Okay, Come on.." Kayla pulled me inside. I could tell she was super excited about being here. i was happy to see her that way and I hoped that she would be even more excited when I ask her out .. "Welcome to the Hilton, How may I help you?" The man at the counter asked. "I made reservations for tonight its under August." I explained to the man. "Um yes here it is room 500 and your extra requests were sent up already." The smiled and handed me a pair of keys. "Okay, Thank you." "Have a nice day sir." The man said. "Ight, Everything is good. Lets go to our room." Her eyes got big. "Room? We're staying the night here?" I nodded. She mini squealed. "Roc, You are the best!" She kissed my cheek. "Its no big deal, but come on.." I grabbed her hand and lead her to the elevator. "What floor?" She asked. "8th" I answered. She pushed the button and the door shut. Kayla's grip on my hand got tighter. "You scared of elevators?" I asked her. "Kindaa when I was younger my mom was in the hospital and my dad let me go on the elevator by myself. I got stuck in one for 2 hours.." I thought she was going to faint the way she started shaking. "Hey, Its okay im here with you now. If we do get stuck at least we'll be together." She looked at me and smiled. "Your right.. Plus we are already on the 7th floor.." She smiled and I did the same. The elevator doors slide open and we got out and walked to room 500, the presidents suite. "Oh...My...Gosh! Roc! My birthday just keeps getting better and better because of you!" She yelled - whispered at me. I smiled. "Come on, Lets go in and have some dinner." I said as I put the key in the door. "Oh theres food? Great cause I am starving!" I laughed and opened the door. When I did i could smell the wonderful food in the room, which made me realize how hunger I really was. I walked in and turned the lights on and Kayla gasped. "It looks great in here! Did you buy all these flowers?" She asked. "Yes. Theres more in the bedroom, but first lets eat!" " I agree!" We both ran over to the food table and sat. "This looks good." I said. "It is!" Kayla said. I looked up and she was chewing on some bread and dancing around in her chair. I just laughed and started eating. "Oh that was so good! Thanks again Roc.." She smiled. "No problem..." I smiled too. "Hey, Didnt you say there was some other in the room?" "Oh yeah.." I bit my lip. "Can we go look at them. I really want to see them.." She got up. "Yes but its a surprise so close your eyes and lead you over to the door." I got up and gently grabbed her arm. I directed her in the direction of the room. I took a deep breath before I opened the door. "You can open your eyes now.." I bit my lip as she slowly opened her eyes, She gasped when her eyes were fully open. She walked over to the bed in a daze and I stood next to the door nervous as freak. "Do you really mean this?" She asked. "Of course I do.." I walked over to her and gently grabbed her hand. "Kayla I love you. I've been working up the nerve to this since we left the Bahamas..." She looked over at the flowers. The way they were laid out it said," Will you go out with me?" "I understand if you say no, I put you through a lot and you prob-" She stopped me from talking with a kiss. "Yes.. I will go out with you.." She smiled. "Yes! Okay thats good because I was scared that yo-" She kissed me again. I broke away and said. "Maybe I should start rambling on more?" She giggled and kissed me again. It turned into a make out session. It felt wonderful, The way she kissed me like our life's dependent on it. Oh gosh, I love her so much and now shes mine again! Kayla started stumbling backwards and then she fell on the bed. I landed on top of her and we laughed. "Its just like the Bahamas again!" I said and she bit her lip. "Do you remember our promise?" She asked. I bit my lip as I said," How could I forget?" "Well Roc, I love you and I'm 18...." "Does that mean you want to...?" She nodded. I bit lip and kissed her again. Our lips moved in sync and Kayla took my shirt off between breaths. Five minutes later and now I'm laying on top of Kayla and we're both naked. I reached over the side of the bed and got a condom. I put it on even though I had some trouble, The condom was to small ;) Kayla kissed me again and I got in position to into her. I kissed her neck and asked, "Are you sure your ready?" She smiled and whispered, "Yes.. Im ready." I bit my lip and kissed her one last time before I went into her. She gasped when I did and I stopped. "Are you okay? Did I hurt you?" I asked. I was scared about doing this because I didnt want to hurt her. I would be so upset if I hurt her. "I'm fine you just caught me by surprise.. Go ahead." I went on and lost my virginity to the girl that I love with all my heart. My other half, The one I would never hurt and always protect. I lost my virginity to My Boo..

So uhhh, that's kinda the end to this part and yeaaaa. The story isn't over yet though, don't worry.
