Part 3, Fall from the heavens

Kara's POV:

It's been about a month and a half since I woke up, I've been taking it easy after my first panic attack, and things have been going smoothly,

And since it's been over a month, I can finally eat some solid food, and it's meat, sure it's synthetic and not as good as the real thing, but it's still better than what I've been eating,

Kara: alright, let's see what's next on the todo list

I check my datapad, inventory the armory,

Kara: armory? Hey Roland, why do we have an armory?

Roland: defense purposes, though I'm not entirely sure, but there are some old weapons in storage too

Kara: really, like what?

Roland: If the inventory manifests are correct, we have two M1 Garand, one M1903 Springfield rifle, five 1911 pistols, one Ross rifle, one AK 47, 74, and 12, one SKS, and three Mosin Nagant M91/30, and a few several other guns too, and along with there respective ammunition, albeit not a lot of it

Kara: interesting, but if you know the manifest, then why do we have to check the accuracy of it?

Roland: just a precaution to keep us busy since we're stuck up here

Kara: Okay, also, speaking of being stuck up here, how do we get back down to earth?

Roland: that's next on our list after we inventory the armory

I look back at my datapad and scroll down through the list, after we inventory the armory, we then have to check the shuttle's status in the hanger bay, interesting,
After finishing up here, I start making my way to the armory,

Arriving at the armory, there's a keycard reader on the wall next to the door, I insert my keycard into the reader but I get a red denied,

Pa: warning, access denied, invalid security clearance

Kara: Roland?

Roland: I'm working on it, for some reason, you weren't given a high enough clearance

Kara: really, that's odd, what is my clearance level then?

Roland: it's currently A tier, now it's S tier, the lowest is D tier if you're wondering,

Kara: Okay good, also that reminds me of something but I can't remember what, anyway

I try the keycard again and this time it gives a green access and opens up, entering, I find the room to be kinda small and a little on the empty side, sure there are weapons, but half of the racks are empty,

Kara: either someone messed up on delivery, or this is intentional

Roland: odd, but it's not like we're ever going to need these, actually, some of them might be already loaded onto the shuttle's ready racks

Kara: maybe, but let's get this over with

I begin moving along the weapon racks and checking the number on each weapon and making sure they're correctly identified and listed on the inventory sheet,

After I complete my checklist, I find that out of the two hundred racks, only seventy-five weapons are set in the racks and are accounted for,

Leaving the room, I stop and look at the weapon rack next to the door, it's a pistol rack and only has five out of the ten on it, but the pistols catch my eye,
