It was magical. He took me to this small diner. It had these pretty lanterns hung all over. He had the place booked for us, just us.

It wasn't expensive, but it was warm and cosy. We talked, alot. I realised how different this was from what I had with Ashton. I smiled more often, laughed at his stupid jokes and attempts at flirting.

We ate burgers and fries. And behaved like kids. I truly enjoyed his company. Oh and remember he told me to wear the t-shirt with the red velvet cupcake? Well he wore one with a muffin on it. I wondered where he got them from, but he didn't say.

For desert he had ordered cupcakes. And I was glad that atleast I would be getting alot of cupcakes out of this relationship. Hell Ashton didn't even know I liked cupcakes. Come to think of it, with Ashton, it was always about him, his likes, his dislikes, his thoughts, his feelings. So when Jake came along, I liked that for once it was about me. I liked Jake.

a/n one more chp...like an epilogue.
