AHANA TEJ sat in the second to last row of Mr. Cuthbert Binns, Muggle Studies class, a strand of her long brown hair coiled around her index finger. Her expression was one of utter boredom as the ghost teacher continued his excruciatingly long lectures about something Ahana never bothered to hear about.

Ahana's social circle was small, consisting mostly of her two Hufflepuff friends, Allie Brown, Riley Auburn, Marinette Winters - a Ravenclaw and a fourth-year Ravenclaw- Tommy Brighton, who she tutored. Her life was quite uneventful and drab, but she liked it that way; she seemed to prefer observing the lives of others instead of finding her own adventure. It was easier, safer, and it
definitely cost less.

As she sat there, a sigh on the tip of her tongue, she couldn't help but allow her eyes to wander toward a boy only one row away from her. She stared at the back of his head, his tousled, unruly raven locks that fall in disarray around his head. He looked so effortlessly carefree and perfect sitting there, on the uncomfortable wooden chair.

Ahana knew who he was. Bloody hell almost everyone in this whole school knew who he was. James Potter, one of the member in the most obnoxious 'gang' in this school. Their pranks were known to be legendary, but Ahana only thought of them as loud and ignorant.
