Sevyn locks her phone and throws it beside her on the couch as she puts the blunt to her lips and takes a long drag of it exhaling the smoke slowly.

"Can you not do that by me"

"Girl- you are in my house sitting by me"

"You know I hate the smell of your dope"

"Ari please don't piss me off right now"

Sevyn says, rolling her eyes at her friend and Aniyah, her best friend, couldn't help the laugh that escaped from her mouth. It was always like this with these two, going back and forth over small things and what always made the situation funny was that they both had accents from two different places of the world.

"What?"

"You saying dope like I'm strung out on that heavy stuff"

"Well if the shoe fits"

Sevyn stands up and goes to open up the doors to the balcony that's connected to the living room area of her apartment to let some of the smoke clear out. She comes and sits right back on the sofa stretching her legs out so that they are laid across on Ariana's lap.

"You hit a puff or two of this and you will forget your worries too, aka that man back in Texas. Is that who you are waiting on a call from?"

"..No"

"Damn shame"

Aniyah says, shaking her head

"Told you all you have to do is say the word and I can get you a real man, and not someone who's going to play with your feelings. Eddie can hook you up with one his friends"

"Eddie? Who is that? One of your little friends?"

"Why do you say friend like that?"

"Think she trying to call you a hoe"

Aniyah lets out a small chuckle and Sevyn sits up and gasps dramatically

"Ariana!"

"You are so dramatic that's not what I'm saying"

"I feel like you lowkey try to sneak diss me from all of the times I've talked about Kit"

"Stop talking about my man then"

"Mmh....never"

"You know he doesn't like me hanging around you?"

Sevyn pulls the blunt from her lips twisting her face in disgust at the comment

"Who? Kit?"

"Yeah..."

"Excuse me?? One, you don't even go together like that forreal for him to even have a say on who you can and can't hang around. Two, why are you listening to a man? Three, what the hell is wrong with hanging around me?!"

"I'm with you now aren't I? He expressed that he doesn't like it, doesn't mean I'm listening to him"

"Ok so what's wrong with hanging around me?"

She says squinting her eyes at the girl and Aniyah stays quiet sipping her drink waiting for Ariana to respond. Ariana shrugs her shoulders.

"I mean..you do try and hook me up with damnea the whole city of LA"

This time it's Sevyn who shrugs her shoulders

"I just want better for you, someone who isn't afraid to show you off no matter who it may piss off"
