Yesterday, I forgot you existed,
I forgot your smile,
The way your teeth never showed,
When you grinned,
Because you said,
They aren't free to see.
Yesterday, my heart wasn't yours,
It beat for someone else, myself,
And I had so much fun,
Swinging on the monkey bars,
Without you on my mind.
Yesterday, I didn't even cry,
I smiled, for the most part,
And giggled, and hung out with family,
And I forgot all about you.
Today, I remember you,
And tomorrow, I might forget you,
And someday, I might only remember you,
Sometimes, at night time,
But I'll never truly forget you.
I think I'm ending this collection here.
It's short, I know but I hoped it meant something.
