Episode 5: Awaken in a Dream

(A/N: This is a heads up, most of the dream from last episode will be repeated, but the events will be different because they entered Weiss's dream, so the dream will restart. Enjoy!)

{The scene opens up with a puppet version of (Y/N) hanging while you was breathing heavily from the dream before the puppets side tears open as you let out a loud groan that alerts Shino Zaiden}

Shino Zaiden: This is bad.

{He uses the purple strings that were used to capture the Nightmare goes while the computer says "WAKE" as the scene transcends to Weiss's dream}

Weiss: We're going to do something about you, and that's wiping you from existence.

{As Weiss's Myrtenaster was inches away from your face, your entire body disappears from sight while her weapon pierces the ground as you sprung up}

(Y/N): *gasps*

{You look around the room to see everyone from Team RWBY except Weiss, Ozpin, Shino Zaiden, and Glynda as you looked at your side to see that it doesn't have the stab wound}

(Y/N): Did I just wake up from the dream...?

Whitley: He got away from us, Sister.

Weiss: Klein!

Grumpy Klein: Yes, Mistress Weiss. Grumpy Klein is here for you.

Weiss: Mobilize all imperial soldiers and search for (Y/N).

Grumpy Klein: As you wish.

???: If you truly are suited to be a daughter of the Schnee Clan, then carry out your duties, Weiss.

{Suddenly, long green vines blooming purple sprouts behind Weiss as she tightens her grip on the Myrtenaster}

Weiss: I'll prove to you that I'm worthy.

{The scene cuts to the awaken (Y/N) as he touches his side that was injured during the battle against Weiss in the dream while you continued to breath heavily}

Shino Zaiden: Are you okay? Are you all the way awake?

(Y/N): Yeah... I managed to find Weiss, but I failed somehow...?

Shino Zaiden: For the first reconnaissance mission, you did very well. Please tell us in detail about everything you saw and heard.

—Timeskip—

(Y/N): There was a wall inside the city, too, but I didn't find the entrance to the area with the big statue yet.

Shino Zaiden: It seems the closer you get to the city center, the deeper you penetrate into the depths of Weiss's mind. The city is a fortress that the Nightmare built out of Weiss's thoughts. The Nightmare itself should be inside the core of her mind. When you saw Weiss inside the dream, what was she like?

(Y/N): ...When I found her, she was really mad...

Yang: She's the same awake.

Blake: Yang...

(Y/N): Me and her fought, and I ended up getting stabbed through my side...

Ruby: Stabbed?!

Shino Zaiden: The Nightmare is trying to make you believe that.

(Y/N): How... I was literally stabbed, and if you didn't save me, I would've died in the dream.

Glynda: That is only the Nightmare exploiting her mind. Although I'm sure it would be traumatic if you thought that was actually her true self. We should differentiate her from the original Weiss. Let's call her Negative Weiss.
