Lucy's Pov-

Shit shit shit shit shit. Fuck I didn't mean for her to find out like this. What the fuck do I do. Now it just looks like I'm some crappy mum who's abandoning her kid for her own benefits.

I stare out of the gym window, leaning against the bar that ran across it. How'd I let it get to this. Why did I put it off so much? I felt more tears now falling onto my cheek, desperately trying to stop them falling as I hear the door open to the gym and then softly close.

Two warm arms loop themselves round my waist and I feel someone's head prop up on my shoulder. We stay in silence for a while, hrr grip on me tightening as she notices my tears. "It's ok luce, she'll be alright" Keira whispers.

"What the fuck have I done" I mumble, sniffing, "she'll never forgive me, how can she?"

"She'll forgive you, she's just in shock"

I don't reply and just cry more, continuing even when Keira turns me round and pulls me into her chest. She runs her fingers through my hair, gently tucking the hair behind my ears. I'm not sure how long we're stuck like that but when I eventually pull away, it's becoming dark outside.

"Fuck, I need to see Rosie" I say, suddenly jolting back to reality.

"No, I think she needs space, do you want me to go?" Keira replies in her typical assertive but cautious manner.

"I just want to talk to her though"

"Luce, I think it's best, why don't I go up to her room, talk to her and you can wait outside then if I say go in, you can?" Keira meets me half way

"Ok fine" I grump, wiping at my eyes.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

It is now 6pm and everyone is slowly piling into the canteen after an afternoon of gym training and chilling. I'm sat slumped in my chair, watching person after person make their way over to the queue, but my eyes were only training on finding one person- my maisie. It seemed that everyone was now in the canteen and no one had entered in a while. I was starting to worry now, turning around and searching the whole room in case I'd missed her entrance. Jordan, who was sat next to me, noticed my frustration, "Everything alright mate?"

"Have you seen Maisie?"

"Um no, I haven't seen her since lunch actually"

I nodded and leant back in my chair, scanning the room until my eyes fell on Keira, who was sat over  with Leah and keets. I waited until she noticed me staring at her, and when she pulled me a questioning look, I mouthed "Maisie?"

She frowned and then looked round the room, like I had, then turned back to me. "Upstairs?"

I stared back at my untouched food, and then got up, apologising to Jordan and the rest of the table who I was sitting with. I left the room, and headed along the corridor towards the rooms, mentally preparing myself for what sort of conversation we'd be having.

I knocked on the door, and waited with no reply. I knocked again, no reply, and again, no reply. I frowned wondering where on earth she could be before using my fob to get into my room. I searched for her spare fob, she'd always give me one in case she lost hers, and found it in a draw. I knocked once more on her door, before entering slowly. "Maisie" I called out. No reply. I wandered into the room, closing the door behind me and stared round confused at the empty room. I checked the bathroom to which I again found empty. I sighed and sat on her bed, turning my phone on to call her. The phone rang and rang and rang but it was never answered and I soon heard it go through to voicemail.

 Fuck.

The only other option I had was her phone tracker. I only ever used it if she was at training or to see how far away she was but I'd never had to use it because I didn't know where she was. I opened the app and zoomed in, hoping to see her little circle somewhere over where I was. Confused as to why it wasn't appearing, I scrolled onto my friends page. 'Location off'. What the fuck. I could feel myself starting to become panicked as I frantically refreshed the app, hoping she'd appear any minute.
