Cinder
I padded slowly back to camp. Today was a sad day. My fathers deputy, Tallon died today from a strange disease. And my father would be announcing his new deputy at Moon high tonight.
The whole time I was at camp I thought only of River. She would know what to do, I don't know how I was supposed to go through with her crazy plan, she didn't even know I had agreed to it.
I had a feeling I knew who my father was going to pick as his new deputy. At Sunhigh the hunting patrols had returned and every cat ate except for me, I merely sat and watched every other cat share prey my mom, stream had offered me some of her blackbird she had caught. But I sadly shook my head and gazed off again.
River
After Cinder left me, I sat down and thought about all the mistakes I've made in my life. I've made so many of them even coming here might have been a mistake. I halted myself at these thoughts. I couldn't think about these and hope that Cinder would go through with our plan.
I could only hope.....
