'i'm going back to 505'

'even if its a 7 hour flight, or a 45 minutes drive'

the boy gets off the treadmill as he hears his doorbell ring, he'd suspected it was marcus, as he had texted him earlier saying he'd come over later

Jadon wraps the towel around his neck and turns off the speaker and walks to the front door

and sure enough he lets Marcus in, and they sit on the sofa

"so, how's life?" Marcus asks the younger boy

"yeah, it's all good"

"what about H? you haven't spoken about her in a very long time"

"well i think it's been long enough, i should probably explain"

"go on"

"so about 2 weeks ago she told me her name"

"and you didn't tell me???"

"look i didn't tell anyone"

"whats her name?"

"Hana"

 "that's a pretty name"

"really pretty, but basically she told me that got set up on a date but it was too awkward to end it bcuz she hated the guy, so she stayed in too long and he asked her to be his girlfriend, which after 2 weeks of knowing each other is a big big red flag, but she had to say yes, im telling you this girl is too nice for her own good, so she's kinda stuck in a relationship with a guy she hates"

"ouch that doesn't sound fun"

"yeah its a lot more complicated too, but i don't think i should go into detail"

"so are you guys planning on meeting up"

"i hope soon but we don't have any plans yet"

"are you scared?"

"about?"

"meeting her, what if she isn't what you expect?"

"i don't care Marcus, i've already fallen in love with her personality, i dont think i could care less about what she looks like"

"love is a strong word Jadon"

"i know but, that's what it feels like, warm and safe speaking to her"

"well i wish yous the best then"

"so you?"

Marcus smiles at the thought of his new girlfriend

"i have a girlfriend"

"no way"

"mhm"

"when did you meet? i swear i've literaly been around you everyday i've never seen u with a girl"

"we met about a month ago, at the hospital when i was there for my physio sessions"

"so is she a doctor?"

"nah she was in the hospital, a patient, i don't she'd want me saying why though"

"it's alright but like, i didnt think you was capable"

"yeah me neither, specially after you know who" Marcus says as his heart aches at the thought of his ex who just randomly left in the middle of the night just over 2 years ago

"well its good your moving on"

"it took me long enough" he laughs

"HANA" Talia shouts as she walks through the door of their flat

"what's up?" she says looking up from the sofa

"I HAVE A BOYFRIEND"

"YOU? YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND?"

"YESS"

"NO FUCKING WAY"

"YEAH I KNOW"

the two girls scream and jump around in excitement, Hana was really happy for her best friend, but she also wanted someone for herself, but she obviously didn't say anything as she only wanted her friend to feel happy

they sit down

"what's he like?" Hana asks

"his name is Marcus, he's from Manchester, he's tall, he's black, really handsome too"

"im so happy for you Talia"

"oh come on, you'll be good with Jadon one day" she teases

"shush" Hana laughs as she nudges her friend

hana looks at her friend, giving her a guilty stare

"Hana what is it?"

she begins to break down

"tals im so so so sorry" she cries

"huh?"

"harry asked me to be his girlfriend, like three weeks ago, and i said yes,  regret it so so so much"

"hana-"

"i know your mad" she sobs "i wish i told you earlier, but i only told Jadon, it felt right to only tell him"

"hana im not mad, i get why you never told me"

"im sorryyy"

"shut up hana, im not mad, im literaly your best friend, i could never" she says as she rubs hana's back in reassurance

she continues to cry

"hey hey, calm down, we'll find a way to end this yeah, i promise"

hana sniffles and nods as she brings her friend in for a hug
