Being a ravenclaw myself I am always really witty
I'm tied with Hermione Granger in almost every single class
People have always bullied me for reading so much, at least I have the brains for simple spells unlike some people.

I was sitting by a tree reading up on a book about Hogwarts and its history, great wizards and witches,  and all that stuff until my peace was undoubtedly disturbed.

"Oi Y/n! Got your nose in a book again!" A disgusting voice called out to me, pansy Parkinson

I sigh and get up grabbing my bag walking away from her and her little gang of gossip girls.

"Where do you think you're going!" The voice called out coming closer

I turned around, "anywhere away from your disgusting bloody face and your little gang here"

"No one talks to me like that!" She screeches

"Well always a first time for everything huh"

"Shut up!" She yells

"Eh? How about.... no"

"Why you little-!" She pulls her wand out and puts it to my throat.

But I was faster than her.

"Rictusempra" I said pulling out my wand.

"You'll---- pay---- for --- this" she said as she could not stop giggling

The tickling charm, so useful.

Everyone was laughing at  her whilst I was walking walking away from the drama.

I decided to skip dinner and go to the astronomy tower with my book

Once I made it up there I sat on the dusty floor.

"Lumos" I whispered and my wand lighted up.

I was reading contently and peacefully until I heard someone else trudging up the steps after hours.

"Nox." I whispered

I stood up slowly until the figure came into view. Draco Malfoy. No one knew but that I had the biggest crush on the boy. No one had to know.

"Draco?"

"Oh uhm- Y/n I didnt know that you were here"

"Oh well, yeah, what're you doing up here after hours?" I asked

"I could ask you the same thing"

"I asked you first though"

He chuckled at this. "I guess you're right"

"Well I'm up here to get away and read as usual" I said

"I guess I just came up here to get away too"

A few minutes of silence came across us
"Do you uhm-  have a boyfriend Y/n" he asked

How was I supposed to answer this?! Wait wait wait! I could finally use this trick my sister gave to me! About time I put this little flirting skill to use.

"Actually yes I do-"

His face had this kind of sadness washed over it.

"-And he's standing right in front of me," I finished my sentence smirking a little bit, facing him.

It took him two seconds to register in his mind what I just said.

He wasted no time in in pulling me in and kissing me.

And it's all thanks to my sister for giving me that pick up line.
