After the earlier events, Seonghwa and Hongjoong had been, closer than ever, of course they had their own times but they would always be on calls with each other and texted each other quite a lot
They would also sneak out to see each other, just to cuddle and talk non stop with each other and maybe sometimes studied, Hongjoong wanted to improve his grades a bit more which shocked Seonghwa a bit but was 100% willing to help him.
Spring passed by, and summer was already here, midterms finished and Hongjoong passed all of them, all his friends were proud even surprisingly his dad, but the most proudest person was Seonghwa, and finally summer vacation came around the corner
"Ahh its so hooott" Seonghwa whined while fanning himself with his hand which of course didn't work, Hongjoong sat next to him eating a blue popsicles "i brought you one" he said giving the popsicle, it was a red flavor which apparently Seonghwa preferred over the blue one which caused multiple discussions between the two "ah thank you" he said taking it and started eating it, the two sat in the bench outside the corner store in silence
"Seonghwa do you have any plans for the break" Seonghwa stopped eating his popsicle for a bit just to think, "Besides visiting my fathers grave then no" Hongjoong's face dropped a bit and Seonghwa noticed he gave him a sad smile "Its okay Joong, it's been years i'm okay now" he said patting his head
"Why do you ask?" Seonghwa asked and bit his popsicle, "Mingi's said that his family owns an apartment by Haeundae and this year they are going to Jeju so they let him have the apartment for some days"
Seonghwa's eyebrows raised "That sounds nice" Hongjoong nodded "he invited everyone, he said the apartment is huge for the eight of us to be there, we just needed to know if you could go" he continued explaining "are you going?" Seonghwa tilted his head, Hongjoong nodded "yeah, my parents are going to my mom's hometown so they are going to be out a while" "They are going to Busan and not taking you?!" Seonghwa exclaimed
"Sadly, but who cares I prefer hanging out with you and the other guys" Seonghwa blushed but couldn't be noticed with his already reddened face "So are you in?" Seonghwa nodded "Hell yeah"

"MINGI IS AMAZING" Wooyoung yelled while sticking his head out of the van, "W-Wooyoung please stay inside the van" Seonghwa said pulling him inside

The trip barely started and he already felt it has been hours, Hongjoong was in the back with Yeosang and Jongho while Yunho was driving and Mingi was on the passenger seat
