Chapter 21

Irene

A month after my birthday, Greggy was now rarely visiting me and sleeping with me.

I can't blame him, there's a rumor that his company is now facing a problem. But ano ba naman yung, tawag at update lang diba?

"Irene, tulala ka nanaman dyan." I heard Ate's voice.

"Iniisip mo pa din ba siya?" she added. "Sinong hindi, ate? Kapag tatawagan ko naman siya, hindi siya sumasagot." i replied and looked at her.

"What if--" I stopped when she speak.

"What if may babae si Greggy, ganun? nako, Irene. Stop being overthinking, you know that his company had a big problem now."

"I know, but hindi mo naman ako masisisi. I'm his girlfriend." I replied.

"Sabagay. Let's eat na nga." she pulled me to our dining table.

"Bumalik pa kayo?" Kuya asked, I glared at him. "Aasarin mo nanaman, Bong. Maupo.na kayong dalawa at kakain na."

I sat beside Liza and Ate.

"Liz, uhm pumupunta ka ba sa opisina ni Greggy?" I asked her, whispering.

"Yeah but, hindi naman siya pumapasok sa office e. Nasa bahay nya ngalang siya." Liza replied, I'm shocked.

"Ha? ang sabi nya sakin may problema daw ang kumpanya nya kaya hindi siya nakakadalaw." I told her.

She shrugged her shoulder as she don't know.

We just ate and stayed in our living room, we will watch a movie.

"Ma'am may bisita po." Yaya informed us. "Sino, yaya?" I asked. "Si Sir. Greggy po." she replied, nagkatinginan naman kami nila Liza at Ate.

I stood up and went to the garage as I saw him. "Hi, love." he greeted and put down what he brings and hugged me tightly.

"I missed you so much." he whispered. "Alangan, isang linggo kang walang paramdam tapos minsan nalang dumalaw." I replied.

He looked at me. "I'm sorry, love. I've been so busy kasi in my company." he kissed my cheeks.

"Kailan mo pa ba ako papaikutin?" I asked. "What do you mean?" he asked too.

"Nothing. Kung gusto mong pumasok, pumasok ka." I replied and went back to our living room.

"Nasaan?" Ate mouthed, tinuro ko naman ang pinto.

"Goodmorning po." he greeted my family. He went to Mom as he offered his hand to a bless.

"Kumain kana ba, hijo?" Mom asked. "Opo, nakakain na po ako kanina lang." he answered.

"Join us, watching movie. Sit beside Irene." mom uttered, Greggy smiled and sat beside me.

I glared at him. He just hugged me while watching.

Lintik na Greggy to, ginawa pa akong teddy bear nya.

When the movie finished. "Magpahinga muna kayo at mamaya dadalawin natin ang Daddy nyo." Mommy told us.

We nod and gave her kiss on her cheeks and went upstairs. Bago pa man makapasok si Greggy kwarto ko, sinarado ko agad.

"Hey, that hurts!" he uttered. "Bahala ka sa buhay mo." I replied and climbed to my bed.

He keeps calling me. "Ano ba, Greggy nagpapahinga." I uttered. "Let me sleep too." he replied.

I rolled my eyes. "What did I told you earlier? Bahala ka sa buhay mo." I answered.
