Time machine

If time could bend to my command,
I'd journey back to younger land,
To share with her the things I know,
And guide her path while struggles grow.

With a leap I enter the machine,
Back to the past, where she is seen.
With so much to say, and so little time,
I'll tell her my secrets, my words will rhyme.

"Dear young me, listen close, do not fear,
All that you seek, you already have, my dear.
Focus on yourself, and forget the rest,
Your spirit is strong, you're already blessed.

The hurtful words of others let slide,
Stay true to yourself there's no need to hide.
Believe in your dreams, and hold your head high,
You will reach the stars, if only you try.

Take care of your health, both body and mind,
Love yourself, and don't be blind.
You are enough, just as you are,
Don't let others dim your shining star.

Remember, my love, to never lose your smile,
For it will carry you through the toughest trial.
I know that you will stumble, I know that you will fall,
So remember to get back up again, remember to stand tall.

Remember, my younger self, to be proud,
The best is yet to come, don't let worry be loud.
True friends will cross your path, just wait and see,
And you'll find your happiness, the way it's meant to be."

With a wave of my hand, I say goodbye,
Back to the present, with a heavy sigh.
But in my heart, I feel at ease,
For I've shared my knowledge, and it will never cease..
