I slowly opened my eyes as rays of sunlight enter the window panes. I hugged the pillow beside me without realizing I wasn't intending to hug a goddamn pillow. I sat down, finding out Landon already left. I looked at my phone to check what time is it and what day is it.
7:34 am
Sunday, 23 June
I realized its very early for Landon to get out of bed. I was about to walk out the room when..
"Happy anniversary, honey." Landon entered the room with a full American breakfast on a tray, cautiously smiling at me.
I got shocked and hugged him right away, not realizing tears streaming down my face.
"Why am I so lucky?" I asked while glancing on the breakfast tray, full of delicious food.
"No, you're not. We both are." he kissed my forehead.
