"hello?" I answered.
"come to da hospital now!!" He yelled over the phone.
"what's wrong??" I panicked.

"dad im here" I said over the phone.
"okay, im finna come down there" & with that he hung up.
"you good ?" Landen asked sitting beside me.
"i don't know.. i just hope everything; everyone is okay.." i spoke.
"understandable" he said.
"yall come on," we heard beside us making me look up seeing my dad.
"what happen ?" I asked as we walked down the hallway.
"Jameer got shot.." My dad said stopping a hospital room door.
"did he do it ?" I whispered.
"i got a gut feeling somebody close to us or was close to us had something to do with it.." he whispered back making me nod.

"you hungry ?" Landen asked me driving past fast food restaurants.
"yes, i want-" i spoke before getting interrupted.
"Wendy's" he said making me laugh.
" and you know this .. man" i said quoting Smokey from Friday.
"so who Cain think shot yo' brother ?" He asked pulling up to Wendy's.
"well, me and my dad both think Carter.. but he said somebody that's close to us or was close to us that's currently not around anymore" i said.

"that last part you just said miko.. i got some clues" he said.

"welcome to Wendy's, what will your order be ?" The worker asked.
"lemme get ah' 4 for 4 with a strawberry lemonade and a spicy chicken sandwich" he ordered.
"okay, will that be all for your order ?"

"you had a 4 for 4, strawberry lemonade along with that an spicy chicken sandwich.. that'll be $23.31" She said. Driving up to the second window, Landen gave them his card.
"here you go, have a nice day" the girl said giving Landen our food.
"who you think did it ?" I asked referring back to our last conversation.
"gotta' be Kylo, his ass seemed weird to me every since" he said driving.
"but how if he don't live down here anymore.." i said confused.

"she not gon' answer, ha' ass on vacation"
"im tryna get like her" i said.
"shid' me too baby" he walked over to me, hugging my waist.
"my son betta' come out by June" Landen stated, rubbing my showing stomach. Rolling my eyes, i patted his shoulder.
"he won't baby, you keep saying he will but he won't" I said.
"he will.., just watch" he said making me laugh.
"mhmmm whatever you say" i said.
