Chapter Twelve

SHORT A/N!
Sorry that all of the chapters are short, but usually when I try to write longer chapters I lose interest halfway through and don't update for weeks ;-;

START:

"So, what exactly... Happened... While I was gone?" I worded it carefully. "I mean Minato was strong... And Obito and Rin... I just don't understand..."

Kakashi sighed and turned his head, looking away from me.

"Obito was crushed while on a mission."
My eyes widened.
"It was my fault... I was in charge and if I hadn't been so stubborn-"
I didn't let him finish, instead cutting him off with a tight embrace. To my surprise, he returned it.

"Rin...?"

"I..." He shook his head. Immediately, I understood.

"It's okay, Kakashi... I shouldn't have asked-"

This time, I was cut off. It took a moment to register what was going on. This was completely out of the ordinary for Kakashi... Wow... I really was gone for a long time.

Kakashi just kissed me.
