The Thief is one of the most powerful villains in the universe. He built a blood transfuser into his hand so that any time he clinches on to someone's hand he temporarily gets their power and some of their blood.

He tells us to meet him at Time Square. I don't know why he would pick such a crowded place, but I agree. It is going to be hours before we find this idiot. Suddenly, someone sneaks up behind me.

"How many people does it take to find a black man in Time Square?" I look back and see the arrogant man.

"You were the one who picked this place." I say to the bearded man.

He looks at me, shakes everyone's hands, and adds "There's a reason for everything." I glare back at him to ask him what he's up to and he vanishes. I knew he was clenching Alex's hands for too long. Now we have to find him before he gets too far.

We split up to find him. Jack goes into a nearby theater while Rebecca goes to McDonalds. Alex decides to stay where we are in case he comes back. I honestly think he just didn't want to move. As I run around, a big bank draws my attention. Why else would he want to go invisible unless he wanted to steal something? He calls himself 'The Thief' for a reason.

I rush into there and it's crammed. I couldn't even find him if he was visible. I figure that he is headed to a money vault, but chasing him would be dangerous and pointless. I decide to leave the bank and find the rest of the group. We'll have to find out a way to do this without The Thief.

I find them and we start to head back to the car. "So you're gonna give up on me that quickly?" A man says. I turn back to see the brown-eyed jerk and slap him.

"You can't just run off like that." He shows us a bag full of money. He simply says he wanted to secure some stuff while we were in town. What a dimwit?

We hurry out of there and head to a nearby alley before some cops come looking for what looked like a few thousand dollars. I'm kind of surprised that he came back. I expected him to take a power and leave.

"Why'd you come back?" I ask him. "I can only keep what I have for an hour. I figured there was nothing better to do than to listen to whatever crap you got for me. So, show me. What did you come all this way for?" He replies.

"We're about to embark on the biggest mission in the history of the world. We are going to take down Captain Justice, but we need your help. He is not going to just hand over the glove. It is the most powerful object in the world and we can take it. You'll be the most famous  super villain in world. Everyone will know your name. With the help of Jack, Rebecca, Aaron, Alex and me, we could do this. Are you in?"

He starts to slowly clap. I saw him smile when I said Aaron. I hope they don't have a history. He finally says this. "Congratulations. You've gotten an impressive team behind this. We would become infamous if it works, but it won't. Nothing that you lead will ever work. It's a shame to waste such dynamic talent." He then turns to the rest of the group. "Run while you can Rebecca and Jack. I would say it to you too Alex, but we all know you can't run."

I'm not shocked that he refused. He's always been a loner. He is incapable of sharing. I look at the rest of the group and they're staring right back at me. I can't tell if they are really reconsidering. I focus my eyes on Jack. He stares into my eyes and nods.

I thrust myself toward Kevin and wrap him up. He struggles like a fish trapped inside a net with no water. I yell at Rebecca to help me, but she looks the other way. He tries to scream for help, but no will come. Finally, I stand him up and push his face so that Jack could see him.

Still squirming, he closes his eyes to avoid what is coming next, but Alex promptly limps toward me and forcibly opens Kevin's eyes. He flails his head around so that Jack can't see him. Alex slaps him a few times and I finally get his face toward Jack again.

"Stop this. You can't force me to do this. I'm The Thief." He yells.

"The only thing that thief means is that you can't do anything by yourself." I retort confidently.

Finally, Jack locks eyes with Kevin. It only takes three-seconds before he completely changes his mind. I release him immediately and Jack makes him believe that he fell. He cooperates fully all the way to the plane. Jack has already proven to useful.

With all the members of the team complete, we go back to the lab. The plan is officially in action
