I warned my friends this would be very dark, sorry for the sad feels about to hit

Monsters yelled back and forth, angry stressed and of course frightened.

After all, in mere seconds an island had been wiped off the map and anyone who tried to go near where it was quickly became ill.

"Silence!" Asgore shouted from his throne with Queen Toriel next to him, both looking exhausted with dark shadows of grief under there eyes still. The crowd became silent, the feeling of unease and fear still in the air.

"We have sent summons to investigate, and now know what has happened," The Queen told everyone.

Murmurs swept the crowd.

"The humans have created banned war technology, they call its a nuke. They have sent a war notice," Asgore said voice tight.

"Banned... but the great spirits..." a voice said trembling.

"They slew there great spirits," Toriel announced, horror filled silence filled the area.

------

The sky was grey..

But now a days it was always grey, and smelt of death.

A chest jarring cough filled the air, and Vibe closed the curtains in the window.

"No sun?" a weak voice came, following by another cough.

"No... just the usual," Vibe said walking away from the window, Ash smiled weakly from where he lay in bed.

"Water..." Ash managed through coughing, his white bones were yellow and brittle.

A whistling was heard and they stilled, a sigh of relief escaped his mouth when it didn't hit them.

'It still hit elsewhere though...' Vibe thought, his soul squeezing with stress.

The war wasn't doing well, monster against human, magic against technology.

Here they were thirteen year old and half the population was ill from the radiation sent off by the nukes, he hear humans were dying in droves but they didn't care as long as the humans were taken out also.

Vibe did not understand why the humans were so ready to wipe them themselves out in there madness to murder all the monsters.

"Papyrus brought you soup again I see," Vibe finally said, spotting the bowl of chicken soup nearby.

"He promised once the war is over, he was making spaghetti since there would be more meat available," Ash giggled.

"I hope it ends soon," Vibe said softly, Gaster there father and Grillby were at the front of the war trying to find the factories for the nukes.

"Is it spring yet?" Ash asked weakly.

"Its spring," Vibe lied.

"Really... the trees must be getting green then," Ash said.

"Yeah..." Vibe whispered, for most of the trees were long dead now.

"I love you Vibey," Ash said, eyes slowly closing.

"No no Ash! Don't leave me!" Vibe screamed in horror.

"Tell Father and Papyru..."

Vibes scream of grief could be heard for miles.

------

Three weeks later the war ended, the humans wiping themselves out when they screwed up.

Papurus sobbed into Vibes side, as a mass Funeral service was held and Ash and Gaster's names were read off.

It.. was just them now.
