"I don't know why we have to do this" Tyler rolled his eyes
"Because I'm a nice person" Alex said
"Can you not be for once?" He said burying his hands in his pockets
Alex shook her head shutting her mouth, she knew no matter how much she tried to convince him he wasn't going to budge
They were currently at Patty's sitting in a booth facing the door, two weeks passed after Alex broke her arm
Things had gone back to normal, well a few things of course
Alex sat there in a light blue summer dress with a black Armoline Deluxe arm string holding her arm at a fixed position, Tyler was seated next to her in dark grey sweatpants and a white t-shirt.They both wore matching black Nike flipflops with white half socks
Alex put her left arm on his leg annoyed at how it continuously bounced
"Stop that will you?" she said "I know you guys haven't spoken after... you shouldn't have com-"
"I can't let you meet him alone you know that" Tyler said sternly
Alex smiled
"Afraid I'd pull a Gwen on you" she joked
"I know you wouldn't" he said as he covered her hand with his big one "but I don't trust him"
"Hmm"
"Alex!" Louis said as he spotted her
A smile crept upon his face as he walked over to her, his smile was quickly erased when he saw who she brought along
"I thought you'd come alone" he voiced his thoughts as he sat opposite the couple
"He wouldn't let me" Alex smiled
Silence sipped in immediately after Alex spoke, Louis hadn't calculated Tyler being with her when he texted her to meet up for a talk
He was surprised she accepted
He sighed as he looked at the table not knowing where to start, this was going to be easy if Tyler wasn't there. She was more understanding than him
Why would he be though, he slept with his girl years back. Anything that came out of his mouth was totally crap to Tyler
"I don't have all day Louis" Tyler spoke "spit it out"
Louis licked his lips for a second before looking at both of them, Alex had her attention on him while Tyler stared at his phone completely disinterested
"I'm sorry" Louis said
"What?" Alex asked in confusion
Tyler snorted as he put his phone away and looked at him in a bored tone
"What do you mean?" Alex asked
"I wanted to apologize, I'm sorry for everything" he continued "and that day at school, I was drunk I shouldn't have said that knowing you're with Tyler now"
Tyler chuckled
He knew what he said utter nonsense, he would've regretted if he left his girlfriend with Louis
How Louis was looking at Alex didn't go unnoticed by Tyler, he looked at her like she was the most precious thing on earth
Indeed she was, but she was taken. Tyler wondered when he'd eying other people's women
"I.. Louis things happen, you shouldn't really apologize-"
