"Alex!" Lillian said

"Hey" Alex waved at them awkwardly

She had slept all morning but at the same time running away from the situation that was happening in her life

She had plans with Louis but she wasn't intending on meeting him anytime soon

It was a Friday

He was probably distracted with his friends because he hadn't called her again

She had worn a big light grey hoodie with blue denim shorts, black vans and a black backpack

"Lexi we need to talk" Molly said approaching her

Alex looked at her friends

Whatever they wanted to talk to her about was serious by the looks on their face

She had too much on her plate already, she didn't want anything added to that

"I have to go to the library ...can it wait?" Alex said

"No it can't honey, it's important" Fiona said

"When I come back, I promise we will but I have to go and study alright" Alex smiled

Before the girls reacted, she was out of the room

"Wow" Lillian said bewildered "she clearly didn't want to talk"

"She doesn't look like herself if you girls noticed" Mte said

"Yeah? She looked normal to me" Lillian shrugged

Mte shook his head before standing up

"I gotta go, I've told y'all why she's distancing herself from you guys, the rest is up to you and if you need help I'm here just don't put me on the front lines"

"Yeah" Fiona sighed

"We'll have to tell her" Molly said

"See you tonight yeah" Mte said before leaving

Alex was excited as she entered the library

There was no place she could calm her mind at that moment on campus than there

She looked around

People sat here and there engrossed in their books

It was beautiful everytime she looked at it

To the right was a wall length window with tables and chairs, to the left were shelves with hundreds of books and on the middle nothing but space for people to walk in which also led to the stairs

With no time to waste, Alex walked to the stairs

The upstairs interior was the same as the one downstairs

She went straight to the shelves to select a book that was going to distract her from Louis and Tyler

She needed a distraction badly

Alex was walking through the shelves looking for the novels section when a sight of a certain someone stopped her

That was very unusual, she never knew sitting around the shelves was allowed

Her eyes met his and all the will to move left her right there

Tyler sat leaning on one of the shelves one leg drawn to his chest the other stretched straight on the floor, his right hand leaned on the bent leg with a book in his hands and a pen on his ear

He surrounded himself with three books

Alex's heart started beating fast like it usually did when he was in her peripheral vision
