So, while writing the fanfiction... I figured I wouldn't be explaining these terms because they would make it redundant and take away the main plot which I have planned.
So, just in case you haven't read the books/ watched the movies or you need to update yourself, here are a few things you need to know about 'The Many Lives of Isabella Potter PART ONE':
1) Muggle(s): Non-magic folk.
Eg: The family Bells and Harry spend summer with- The Dursleys.
2) Hogwarts: The school Bells and Harry go to learn magic, and where they spend most of their year.
3) School houses: There are four houses namely Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Each house possesses specific attributes, which the Sorting Hat recognizes, and accordingly sorts the students.
Gryffindor- courage, chivalry, nerve, and determination.
Head of House- Minerva McGonagall who reaches Transfiguration.
Hufflepuff- hard work, dedication, patience, and loyalty
Head of House- Pomona Sprouts who teaches Herbology
Ravenclaw- wit, learning, and wisdom.
Head of House- Filius Flitwick who teaches Charms
Slytherin- cunning, resourcefulness, leadership, and ambition
Head of House- Severus Snape who teaches Potions
4) Lily and James Potter were Bells' and Harry's parents who were murdered by Lord Voldemort. They are raised by Petunia (Lily's sister) and her husband Vernon Dursley.
There's a lot more, but here's the crux of it.
