𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 1

𝐈 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐍𝐄𝐃 as the alarm blaring interrupted my nap, I quickly sit up and get off my bed, I walked in front of my mirror to fix my uniform and my messy hair.

I heard someone knocking "Y/n, hurry up!!" I quickly opened the door to see Jayme with her arms crossed. We quickly walked through the hall and heard some faint unfamiliar voice 

"What are you talking about? this is the umbrella academy," I heard the unknown woman asked

"Wrong again, this is the sparrow academy." Dad confidently corrected the woman 

we all walk in our balcony
I positioned myself on Sloanes left side and Alphonso's right side. I looked down confused at the strange random group in our living room looking up at us

"schoolboy staring at you" Alphonso whispered

I look down at the boy Glaring at him,
he quickly looks away and turned to look at the man who walks in front of them, Ben.

"Dad, who the hell are these assholes?!"
ben asked

"Shit," The strangers said in unison,
All of them eyeing ben.
"Ben?" the skinny man with a cowboy hat muttered

"Is that you?" The big man asked in disbelief while stepping in closer to ben.
Ben only looks at them confused

"And who are the weirdos on the balcony?!" The man with the weird hair yelled while looking at us

"They are the sparrows, My children."
Dad informed while the ground starts rumbling

"I'm sorry what do you mean 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘯?, that's not possible old man,"  The schoolboy questioned while approaching Dad

"Of course it is! I think I'd know, wouldn't I?" Dad answered

We all walked down to living room and positioned ourselves, I quickly stood next to Jayme's right side

"Everyone can see ben right?" The man with a cowboy hat asked while pointing at ben "Cute hat sundance" ben smiled and it was obvious that he is being sarcastic

"They call themselves the umbrella academy a group of scheming perfidious malcontents. who accosted me in the fall of 1964, When I was away on business in Dallas. Be warned, they claim to be my spawn." Dad explained

"Claim?" The woman interrupted and turned to look at the boy with a school uniform "look, five, What the hell is going on?" The woman questions him.
We all look at them confused

"I don't know yet but it's concerning" the boy answered while looking at us
"Is he telling the truth?" Our leader; Marcus asked

"Not the part about us being perfidious." The short woman replied "No, we're amateur-fidious, at best." The cowboy man interrupted. "But we are his children. This is our house." The short woman continued "Yeah, yeah. We, Uh. . . we grew up here." The big man agreed.

"oh yeah, yeah we grew up here" Alphonso mocked him, while Jayme, Fei, and I snickered "I kind of think we would've noticed you" Sloane replied

The big man stared at her
"Hi, I'm Luther" he smiled while offering his hand to shake. Sloane only gave him a look, while me and Jayme are trying not to laugh

"Okay, none of you belong here!" the woman interrupted "Oh! well then, I guess we'll just pack our bags and move out" Fei retorted

Christopher said something that made us laugh "You slay me, Chris" ben joked.

Suddenly, grace walks in with newly baked cookies "I wasn't expecting company" she sighs "this is the best that I could do on short- short... Short notice." She continued while twitching
