1 week later.
I opened my eyes to see a white room.
I looked to the side and saw Eddie passed out on a chair.
I sat up, and tried to walk.
I immediately fell.
Then I saw Eddie jolt up, I was on the floor so he couldn't see me.
"Ruby? Ruby!" He said
"I'm down here."
"Your awake!"
"No."
"So funny." He said sarcastically while smiling and helped me on my feet.
"Sit, you haven't walked in weeks."
"I-I'm fine."
" I have to pee." I said walking alongside the wall to the bathroom.
I opened the door and walked in.
Immediately I looked in the mirror.
I saw scars on my arms.
I pulled up the hospital gown to see scars all over my stomach.
I traced them with my fingers.
30 minutes later.
"Are you ok Ruby? I'm coming in."
The door slightly opened and I saw Eddie with a concerned face.
He saw me and looking at the scars on my back and stomach.
"Ruby. What's wrong?"
"Nothing."
"You sure?"
"Yes I'm fine."
"When can I leave?"
"I don't know. I'll go check."
"Ok."
I walked across the wall again to the bed.
I sat down and saw millions of things on the tray in front of me.
I saw candies, letters, balloons, and more.
Then Eddie walked in.
"Looking at your stuff?"
"Yea! Does this stuff have any Reese's, or M&M's?"
"Uhh, maybe I'll help you look." He said while grabbing a piece of candy and eating it.
I smacked his hand in response.
"That is mine!" I said smiling.
He had a huge grin on his face and grabbed 5 bags of candy.
"Hey!"
He bursted out laughing while trying to open the candy wrapper.
"Open it?" He said with puppy eyes.
"Okay." I grabbed the bag and opened it, then ate all of the M&M's.
He looked at me with a fake mad look, then wrapped his arms around his chest and pouted his lip.
"Anyways, when can I get out of here?"
"Tomorrow." He said a grin appearing on his face.
"Also, Ruby we need to talk." The grin disappearing.
"What's wrong?"
"Listen, I like you, and I mean really really like you, and I guess I just want to know if you feel the same way, and if you don't that's completely ok I mean-"
"I also really really like you Eddie."
"You do?"
"I do."
A grin appeared on his face.
"We aren't getting married yet, hold on."
"Yet?"
